Keep your eyes on the horizon from December to April -- gray whales migrate just offshore, and this property has a front-row seat. Visit in spring for wildflower season -- the hills above Gualala and the river trails burst with lupine and California poppies. June through September brings the warmest weather. Morning fog is part of the charm -- it usually clears to reveal blue skies.

The place was great wonderful view plenty of room. The only issues we had, which were very minor was a few burners on the stove, not working which they offered to come and fix right away other than that fabulous place could use a little TLC on the outside appearance.!

This is my second stay here. Beautiful place. Can’t beat the view. And the house is spacious enough for several people to stay comfortably. It’s not the poshest home on the coast but we were very happy with it. That’s what keeps the rent reasonable. It’s cozy and comfy. The hot tub was great. And the location is fantastic!

The view was unbelievable. We came from Florida and thoroughly enjoyed the cool temperatures gazing at the Pacific Ocean. It was magical. Loved being able to take a dip in the hot tub, gaze at the ocean, gaze at the stars. Close to town too so grabbing any necessities was simple. Easy parking, well equipped kitchen. We didn’t have to leave the house for during the entirety of our stay.

This was a beautiful property and worked perfect for our family. The house was clean and comfortable and the hot tub, with a view, was amazing. The only down side is no BBQ or access to a washer and dryer, but we knew that when we booked. The beds were comfortable and they offered plenty of blankets and pillows to get cozy. Thanks for a great stay!!!

Clean and comfortable. Watched dolphins, sea lions and whales. Some windows showed how hard the environment is on glass but the critical windows were fine.
