My hubby and I had great weather for ocean watching and stargazing from the water facing deck. House was warm and comfortable. I want to come back with another family and cook a huge dinner and light up that fireplace!Spa was clean and relaxing. Pool was…interesting. Too cold for us this trip. We used this place as a home base to go exploring so didn’t spend much time in the house. The beds and pillows were some of the most comfortable I’ve had in a VRBO.

Our Stay at Harmony House

We had a wonderful time at Harmony House. The kids loved the pool and the hot tub. The view was amazing. We saw a family of deer several days. It’s close to town and very close to a killer Mexican restaurant, the Black door.

Big place, beautiful views, great price

Overall had a great experience. The place has stunning views and a great space to socialize. A few notes: the grill was extremely dirty and needed maintenance. The downstairs bathroom looked to have some water damage, and overall the downatairs had a bit of a musty smell.

The view is worth it!

Location and View make this the perfect spot to vacay. It was very clean. Furniture has some wear and tear but comfortable. The master bedroom and bath are very nice. Downstairs perfect for teenagers to hang out. Make sure to bring extra toilet paper, paper towels and cooking spices. Kitchen is well stocked with any cooking item you need. Pool was broken but the hot tube was perfect. There is a outside fire pit we used and it was lovely.

Beautiful home to stay in

The layout was great for us with a separate space for teenagers. The pool, hot tub foosball table and ping pong table were great for the whole family. The view was incredible and there were several nice beaches near by. The only negatives were that there was no pot scrubber and the dishwasher didn’t work well so it was hard to get the dishes clean. Also, on Friday night at about 11:40, the neighbors generator or AC unit came on and sounded like a mag truck. It was turned off after my husband shone a light on it.

Filthy

Upon arrival there was a puddle of yellow fowl smelling liquid on the floor between the bunk beds, garbage on the deck, animal hair throughout. VERY run down home with old breaking furniture. Aside from the view, and a well-equipped kitchen, this house was a huge dirty disappointment.

Listing was inaccurate

the garbage bins were all full, trash in backyard. People living in trailer 8 feet from Hot Tub. Pool was featured but was not operational… this was not relayed to us. When we looked back at the listing, it very clearly stated pool wasn’t working. The statement was added after we had booked and paid. Although I have only booked twice with vrbo, my wife books often for her work trips. This was a huge let down.

Harmony House

Loved or 4 night stay. However we run across a few simple amenities missing at a lot of Vacasa homes we rent. 1- cheap paper towels and toilet paper. Come on man 3100 dollars for 4 nights ! 2- Bathroom and entryway Hooks Hooks Hooks- never enough -if any. 3- Lap pool out of order. Don’t include in amenities if not available. 4- No BBQ 5- coffeemaker leaking all over counter. 6- gas smell permeating from guest bathroom 7- floor vent missing grate leaving hole to trip on. Hope these are helpful

Great place

Overall the house was great! A few things to note that were disappointing considering the amount we paid. 1. Lacking supplies- 1/2 roll of toilet paper for each bathroom total! We had to buy more. One wine glass in the entire house. 3 bowls in the house. No firewood provide d for the stove (which they note in their book but not the online listing). No lighter to light the fire- we wrote this on the private review so hopefully they can remedy these things 2. The pool was freezing. They note on the listing that it’s solar heated, but I guess we didn’t realize that it wouldn’t be warm at all 3. We booked through vrbo but the property is managed by Vacasa. It was very annoying as they were slow to respond to requests for early or late checkouts

Beautiful view but needs update

Loved the view of the ocean and rocks we could see through the homes on the bluff. We missed having walking trails nearby so drove to the closest area south of Gualala. The Back Door Mexican restaurant less than 5 minute walk away was nice. Kitchen needs some appliances updated. One of the things we were most looking forward to was the swim spa since we've toyed with getting one. It was freezing cold and the wave machine was disabled. Must say the primary bedroom is big and comfortable ...maybe a new-ish update... although not sure the reasoning behind an almost 8' opening to the bathroom area so the bathroom light illuminates the bedroom. Dining chair legs are dangerously loose on at least 2 chairs and we needed to hand tighten them to sit. If the weather was warm, the top deck would have been nice for lounging/dining. Good house to keep older kids separated with the 4 twin bunks downstairs with the garage entrance nearby with foos ball and ping-pong tables.
