Loved our stay- host was super responsive- the stairs to get to the dock were in wonderful condition, staggered and easy to ascend for all ages/ having a dock to use was so awesome- for family pictures and getting in/out of the water with and without a boat - the rooms accommodated our group so well and the bedding was very comfortable- every kitchen appliance you could possibly need- and a welcome snack jar was a fun touch- excellent stay in the most beautiful quiet setting - thank you so much/ absolutely recommend!!

Thank you for the kind comments. We are very happy that you had a fabulous time and made great memories. The setting is arguably the best on the lake and why it attracts so many people!
Amazing! Five stars for everything! We had an amazing stay. The house was so clean and so cozy. It was very easy to check in and out. The host was very easy to get ahold of, which was so nice, and they’ve thought of everything to make it an amazing stay. The kitchen is well equipped if you plan to make meals. The beds are so comfortable. The bunk room is perfect for kids. They have plenty of towels. The outdoor space is beautiful with a gorgeous garden and plenty of outdoor furniture to relax and watch the lake. It’s such an amazing bay to be in. Very quiet and the water is calm when the rest of the lake can be windy and choppy. Uber Eats and Instacart had no problems getting to us on evenings we boated late and didn’t have time to make dinner. We spend a week every summer in CDA and this is the first time we already know we want to go back to the same house. Absolutely loved everything.

Excellent guests!! They communicated extremely well and left the home very clean. We will rent to them any time-they are absolutely delightful, caring people. They followed the checkout instructions perfectly and even did laundry for us. Just a terrific outcome!! See you next year!!
Family friendly beautiful house on Coeur d’Alene lake. Wonderful beach and boat dock area, bring your beach chairs for the dock. We brought our boat, paddle boards and floaties. You get your steps in with 86 stairs down to the beach. The stairs are staggered, so going back up isnt to bad. The house is big, lots of room to spread out. The upper floor master bedroom /loft is big and beautiful, however it is warmer up there, and all noise from the kitchen/dining/living room echos up to the loft. Our 2 year old grandson and his mom were with us and our grandson wakes up around 5:30am, and he is loud when he is playing, and eating, so we were awakened each morning way earlier than we would have liked. So be mindful of who is up in the Master, not ideal for someone who wants to sleep in or for children who nap or goes to bed earlier than others who are up and about. The lower level with the game table, TV, and bunk room was always cooler and peaceful. It was great to have a bathroom on each level, and 2 bedrooms on the main floor. We enjoyed our stay and would rent again.
Born and raised just across the way in Spokane, we’ve spent our lives exploring every trail, fairway, and fishing hole the Inland Northwest has to offer. For us, Harrison isn’t just a destination—it’s home.
When we aren’t managing the property, you’ll likely find us golfing at one of the area’s world-class courses, hiking the local ridgelines, or out on the water with a fishing rod in hand. We decided to become hosts because we believe Lake Coeur d'Alene is a hidden gem that deserves to be experienced the right way. Our goal is to provide more than just a place to stay; we want to help you curate the kind of "lake life" memories that your family will talk about for decades.
Why they chose this property
I chose Echo Bay because it is the "quiet side" of Lake Coeur d'Alene. While the north end of the lake is vibrant and busy, Echo Bay feels like a private sanctuary. I wanted a place where the only thing you hear in the morning is the water hitting the dock and the call of an osprey. It’s a rare "Silent Zone" that offers true deep-water lake frontage, yet we’re only a quick drive from the world-class amenities of Coeur d’Alene. It is, quite simply, the perfect home base for a restorative retreat.
The scene here is pure North Idaho magic. Because our property is south-facing, the house is drenched in sunlight from dawn until dusk, making the water sparkle in a way that never gets old. You’re surrounded by towering pines and granite outcroppings, with 100 feet of private waterfront right at your feet. The bay is sheltered and calm, creating a glassy surface that’s perfect for a morning kayak or a late-afternoon swim off the dock.
What makes this property unique
1. The "Ultimate Group Hub" (Bunk Room & Space): While many lake houses feel cramped, ours is designed for the "more the merry" crowd. With 3,219 square feet and a massive dedicated bunk room, we can comfortably sleep up to 12 guests. Whether you’re hosting a multi-generational family reunion or a getaway with three other couples, everyone gets a real bed and enough breathing room to actually relax. No "living room floor" sleeping required.
2. 90 Feet of Private Lakefront & Boat Slip: Forget the public docks and crowded beaches. You have 90 feet of private deep-water frontage all to yourself. We include a private dock with a dedicated boat slip, so you can bring your own craft or rent one nearby and keep it right at the house. It makes the transition from "morning coffee" to "morning water ski" seamless.
3. The South-Facing "Sun Trap": Not all lake lots are created equal. Because we are situated on a south-facing lot, the property acts as a natural sun trap. You’ll get the very first rays of the morning and the last golden glow of the evening. It makes our deck the best seat in Echo Bay for tanning, outdoor dining, or just watching the water sparkle while the north-facing properties are already in the shadows.
4. A Sanctuary in the "Silent Zone": Echo Bay is famous for its tranquility. Unlike the high-traffic areas closer to the Coeur d'Alene resort, our bay is sheltered and remarkably quiet. It’s the kind of place where you can actually hear the wind in the pines and the water lapping the shore. If your goal is to truly "unplug" and escape the noise of the city, this is your reset button.
5. Proximity to the "Big City" & The Trail: We offer the perfect "Goldilocks" location. You feel worlds away in our quiet bay, yet you’re just a few minutes from the high-end dining and shopping of downtown Coeur d’Alene. Plus, being just minutes from the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes means world-class cycling and hiking are right at your doorstep.
