The house was conveniently located near downtown bar harbor, acadia national park, grocery stores and restaurants. The home was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The neighborhood felt safe. We will definitely stay here again.

Great House
The home was clean, safe and in a convenient location only 1.5 miles from downtown bar harbor, acadia national park, grocery stores etc. Check in and out was super easy and all communication was seamless. The house was very large and comfortable for a family of 6. Also was able to bring our fur baby which I loved. Definitely will stay again.

Summertime I. Bar Harbor
We had 6 family members gathered and it was very comfortable with private and public spaces
Great location (walking distance to Bar Harbor downtown) & responsive management company. The property could use some TLC such as painting the deck & balcony, better furniture, & stocking kitchen with more useful & better quality pots, pans & utensils. But the property manager was helpful & prompt with responses to our questions & requests.
This property was exactly what we needed for our family of four and au pair. The amenities and location are exactly as described and the property was clean. Some of the walls need to be patched etc. from removed fixtures but this is an easy fix. Would book again!
This was a chance for my brother and I to bring our two families together before the boys are grown. Having a full kitchen meant more time enjoying each other's company. The unit comes with a grill, and we brought a cooler with meals prepped. Plenty of hot water for showers. It was a great walk to reach everything in town, and we rented bikes to access the carriage roads or drove in. The neighborhood is quiet. We were grateful for the AC during the summer weather.

Rustic but Great
Two families looking to connect - my brother brought his family of four to visit from the West Coast and we booked the 4th holiday in Bart Harbor. I was looking for a place with room for 3 older teen boys where we could cook meals and enjoy down time between the festivities in the village. The distance to town was very manageable (1-1.2 Mike's). It was our exercise for the week. The unit has AC and a BBQ grill. We ate most of our meals relaxing on the deck. Having a home base meant more time playing games and talking. The close distance to the village made renting bikes or driving into Acadia super convenient.

Great space for large family/group to gather
The unit is part of a multi-unit house so there is shared parking. However even though there were other guests in other units we never heard them and parking was not a problem. We had a problem with the dishwasher but the vacasa team was very responsive. The big open space and large kitchen table was great for meals and hanging out. Wi fi was great and location was close to downtown Bar Harbor and 20 mins from lots of trails and other excursions.

Vacation
Bedrooms were spacious and allowed everyone to retreat to their room when they needed to get away from each other.
Fourth bedroom (bunk beds) does not have a door.
Guests were staying at other homes on property but hardly noticed they were there.
Living room/dining room/kitchen allowed all of us to be together when we wanted to be.

Hi Jennifer, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We appreciate your comments on some parts of our property that need improvement, and we will consider them as we work on improving our home. Thank you for choosing to stay with us. We hope to host you again soon.
We look for value in time share properties. This is exactly that. Not fancy. But great value for a group to stay close to a popular area.
Clean, simple, close. Value.
If you’re looking to be blown away atheistically, this isn’t your place. But, if you don’t want to pay top dollar to be close to bar harbor, this is the spot.
I’d come here with a group again.
If you’re a hiker, you’re walking distance to downtown. Close to all the Acadia bests.
5 star value.
This property is managed by VACASA and not managed well. The check in was terrible, keypad code not accurate causing us to wait over 40 minutes on hold on the phone to get someone to answer to give us alternate entry. No one from the management company ever followed up with us during our stay, despite being told they would. Two doors to the outside deck areas didn't have safe locks, one had no lock whatsoever besides a broom stick, and the other door could be completely pushed open even while "locked". The furniture outside was moldy or broken, making being out on the deck impossible. The inside furniture was very dated and also not super comfortable. The tables in the kitchen as well as bedside tables in bedroom were gummy, we even found stuck on contacts in two of the bedrooms. The beds were fairly comfortable and there was a decent supply of linens and towels. The bathroom windows had no coverings on them, and there are neighbors close by, making us feel a bit vulnerable and exposed.
The dishes supplied were lacking in glassware, otherwise fine. We wished there were some cleaning items supplied and garbage bags to make cleaning up after ourselves a little easier. The bunk bed "bedroom" off of the living room had no doors or curtains, providing zero privacy. For the cost of this property, we wish we would've booked elsewhere.

Thank you for your review, Melanie. We are disappointed to read that your recent experience was not satisfactory. We apologize for the delay you experienced during check-in and want you to know that we always strive for this to be a seamless process for our guests. Our local manager assured us that the lock was in good working order and we regret any issues you encountered. We're sorry the outdoor furniture needed some TLC and our manager noted that any broken pieces have been removed from the property. Additionally, missing glasses have been replaced and trash bags are under the sink. Your feedback about doors for the bedroom have been shared with the homeowner and we appreciate your input as an opportunity to improve. We hope you will allow us the chance to provide you with a truly exceptional vacation experience in the future.
