When booking through the VRBO platform, VRBO will generate the cost of your stay when you enter dates and number of occupants. SUNDAY TO SUNDAY RESERVATION SCHEDULE. Rates are for occupancy of 6, there is an added $150 plus administrative fees to total $175.50 (reflected as $150 on your Lease Agreement) per person charge per week, up to 8*. Please note there is absolutely NO guest use of both the interior and exterior fireplaces by lease stipulation. Please, absolutely no pets allowed in the house for any and all reasons. If you have a Therapy or Service Animal that would call for special accommodation we must know this in advance of the booking. For those who may have allergies, the home is not pet free. No landline but excellent cell service recorded. **Path with Access to Babson Creek with potential for High tide put in for kayaking, please inquire, as the launching may require walking through marshland and riparian habitat** Sunday to Sunday , 7 night stays only, thanks! Please note the Security Deposit is $750 and VRBO does not collect but instead places a collateral credit hold for this amount, to be released in the event no claims are made, therefore VRBO issues no security refund. Cedar Cottage vacation
We loved the location and the views from the cabin are wonderful. Large windows so you can look out at the woods and marsh. The house was clean and well furnished. The beds were very comfortable. The house was so close to any day trips we wanted to make, yet nestled in the woods for peace and tranquility. We saw several turkey and deer during our stay. Blinds that lift up during the day but can be pulled down at night in the bedrooms would be nice. Both for privacy and sun for those that are not early risers. Internet was slow, especially at night. Works good in living room but not good for streaming movie or watching videos in the evening. Disappointing that you are not allowed to use either fireplace. With the cool evenings it would have been nice to sit around the outdoor fireplace with a fire. Quick fix would be gas logs. A stock or lobster pot would be nice for those who like to cook. 9:00 am check out is tough when not everyone is a morning person.

Great quite spot
We wanted some seclusion - peace and quiet - and this place perfect. Brand new beautiful home with a nice view of serene marsh. Real estate agent was great in helping us secure the home and we would most certainly return.

This place was amazing. Near Bar Harbor but in the middle of natural beauty! We saw a bald eagle fly right by the main window!! Had an amazing stay with amazing food and amazing nature experience in Acadia. MDI real estate was really responsive. Easy arrival and departure..

Beautiful home
Great house in a convenient location to everything that bar harbor and Acadia has to offer. We were there the 1st week of August and it was a very hot week. The house really needs air conditioning. I understand that you can say that it’s rarely need in Maine but when you’re renting a single week in the heat of summer it matters. Also, there are no blinds or shades on any of the windows which is tough for your privacy. Other than that the house is brand new, in great condition, tastefully decorated and has a nice view of the woods and marsh.
