Hosting is something I truly enjoy—it gives me the chance to create spaces that feel welcoming, comfortable, and just a little bit special. Princess Place is a centrally located Wilmington neighborhood known for its convenience, quiet residential feel, and established character. Just a few minutes from downtown Wilmington and about 20 minutes from Wrightsville Beach, it offers easy access to both the city’s dining, nightlife, and riverfront attractions as well as coastal recreation. Wilmington International Airport is also nearby, making travel especially convenient. The neighborhood is primarily made up of single-family homes, many of which are older 1940s–1960s ranch-style houses that have been updated over time, giving the area a mix of charm, mature trees, and a lived-in, established feel rather than new construction uniformity. Unlike some nearby areas, Princess Place does not have an HOA, which provides homeowners with more flexibility and fewer restrictions. It is generally considered more affordable than surrounding historic or rapidly developing neighborhoods, while still offering strong proximity to key Wilmington destinations. The area is largely residential and low-key, with minimal commercial development, contributing to a quieter atmosphere where neighbors walk dogs, bike, and enjoy a more relaxed pace of life. Nearby parks, schools, and everyday conveniences such as grocery stores and services are only a short drive away. Overall, Princess Place is valued for its central location, practicality, and authentic Wilmington neighborhood feel that balances accessibility with a peaceful residential environment.
