Tucked away off the road, in a great location on the "quiet side", away from the crowds of Bar Harbor. Easy access as a home base to explore Acadia and all the island has to offer. Had a great time visiting Maine on our family vacation!
The house was spotless and exceedingly quiet. Location less than 30 minutes from anyplace on Mt Dessert Island. We loved having the friendly Gotts Market 3 minutes awayOur host responded promptly and took care of any issue immediately,
Excellent location to access the main areas of Acadia and especially on Southwest Harbor side. The house was a little tricky to find via GPS but instructions to look for Gotts market were helpful. Several rooms have air conditioners, which can be helpful as middle of summer can be warm. Very comfortably furnished!
Beautiful home in a peaceful location a bit back in the woods away from the main road. Daily visit from a local doe and my daughter even saw a fox. Everything was cozy and comfortable. Easy check-in and the home has everything you would need. Bedrooms were comfortable and shower water pressure and heat was great. Strong WiFi signal. And communication with the owner was always quick and easy. Highly recommend!
The house is completely secluded, quite a distance from the road but very close to a gas station and a store, which made it an ideal location for us.The house is very well maintained with all amenities and well stocked. The owner was very responsive and helpful. She would reply within 5 minutes of a message. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend.
The house was tucked away off the road in a large opening surrounded by trees. A few deer would visit daily. There were 4 adults in our party. It was nice to relax in the morning having coffee and siting on the outside deck. There are a couple lobster pounds nearby that are excellent. The town of Bar Harbor is about a 30-minute drive. We would stay there again.
This was the PERFECT spot for my family and I to stay while exchanging vows in Acadia. The host was very easy to communicate with. The house was everything we needed but the best part was the privacy. It’s completely hidden off of the road and no neighbors on top of you. Deer came to visit us every day which elevated the experience. We had my 15 month old son with us and the house was very accommodating for him too. Love that we didn’t have to bring a pack and play or high chair as it was already there! The Southwest Harbor side of the island was the ideal location for us.
This was one of the nicest rentals we have ever stayed in. It was well supplied and everything was very comfortable. The location was excellent for visiting Acadia. Any questions we had were quickly answered. We could not have asked for a nicer place to stay
The home looked new inside and out. It was sparkling clean. This is the first home in all the years that I have rented that had air conditioners in every room in addition to ceiling fans. We were close to the Park entrance and to all of the hiking trails. The outside patio had a lot of room for plenty of seating with solar lighting and a pergola covering a dining table set for eight. All the appliances were top notch and in good working condition. The host was gracious enough to give us a gift card to the Little Notch bakery in downtown SW Harbor. I would definitely recommend this rental for a great place to get away and enjoy the amenities that Maine and Acadia have to offer.
