About this property

Cozy Mountain Basecamp at 10,000 Feet

NOTE: Pre-booking during renovation, all photos are pre-renovation.

Welcome runners, bikers, skiers, and mountain enthusiasts (+ furry friends)! This cozy cabin is your perfect basecamp for Leadville adventures all year round. Just outside town, you'll feel like you're escaping to the woods while having Leadville's amenities minutes away. Only 5 minutes from the iconic Leadville Trail 100 start/finish line, and about 15 minutes from Ski Cooper and Tennessee Pass.

The space
This is a recently renovated 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom home with everything you need for your mountain stay, whether you're planning a big day on the trails or hunkering down for a quiet retreat.

The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishes, and basic staples like salt, pepper, sugar, and cooking oils, so you can whip up meals without packing your pantry. There is a single-serve coffee maker which can operate with both K-Cups and coffee grounds. For outdoor cooking, fire up the Blackstone griddle on the back deck, perfect for breakfast or a post-adventure cookout.

The living room features a 50" Fire TV and a wood-burning fireplace for cozy nights in. With two full bathrooms (each with a shower), mornings are easy even with a full house.

The home sits on a wooded lot in a friendly, established neighborhood, not an isolated cabin. The backyard is unfenced, and neighbors regularly spot moose, bears, deer, and other wildlife passing through, part of the magic of being in the mountains! **For their safety and yours, we require that pets be kept on a leash at all times when outside.**

For your furry travel companions, we provide a water bowl, dog bed, and collapsible dog crate for guest use during your stay. Crating isn't required, but if your dog is crate trained, we'd appreciate you using it while you're out and about.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire home and property, with the exception of two outbuildings (a storage shed and a small log cabin used for our personal storage).

There's ample parking right in front of the house, plenty of room for multiple vehicles.

Other things to note
We're passionate endurance athletes ourselves and know how hard it can be to travel with all your gear. We keep some basic recovery tools on site (foam rollers, etc.) for guest use. Let us know if you're in town for any of the race series events and we'll have a special welcome package waiting for you!

** Please note: this is a smoke-free and vape-free property, both indoors and out. **
