We had a great time staying here with our pup! He loved exploring the fenced in yard. The home was super clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the location as it did not take long to get to downtown TC or the wineries on either peninsula.

Most everything went well. There was a glitch with the thermostat and while the response was very prompt they weren’t actually able to fix it after a couple hours of trying so the temperature in the house was not terribly comfortable .

Thank you for the review. Our apologies, We were unable to get an HVAC tech out that particular Saturday night, and property maintenance did not have the correct part available. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience of the timing of this issue, and that it interfered with the quality of your trip. That being said, the repair has since been made, and will have no issues moving forward for future guests!

We had a great stay and would absolutely recommend this house, especially for families traveling with kids and pets.The location was fantastic—about 20 minutes from downtown Traverse City, 40 minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes, and only 15 minutes from Costco and Meijer. It was easy to get just about anywhere we wanted to go while still coming back to a very quiet neighborhood.The house was exactly as described and perfectly clean when we arrived. The kitchen was laid out nicely, the grill worked great, the temperature stayed exactly where we set the thermostat, and there was always plenty of hot water. The mattresses weren't amazing, but were still better than many hotels we've stayed in.The backyard was one of our favorite parts. It's large and fenced, which was perfect for our dogs, and the fire pit with firewood available was a great touch. The neighborhood gets very dark and quiet at night, making it excellent for stargazing. We even saw a fox in the neighborhood and a deer right next to the driveway one night. So cool!The hosts were awesome and very responsive. They also recommended a few fishing spots for my son, which worked out perfectly and was really appreciated. After a very minor glitch during check in which took 2 minutes to sort, we never had to contact the hosts again, but I have no doubt that they would have been responsive if we had.Overall, this was an easy 5-star stay and a great value compared with many other options in the Traverse City area.

I haven’t used VRBO a lot, and was a little nervous as I booked this house the day before we needed it. But I’ll tell you, we couldn’t have been happier. The host was very responsive, had an incredibly clean house, matched the pictures given and was close enough to downtown Traverse City that we could be there in 20 minutes. We used this as a hub as we traveled each day to a new beach and cities like Muskegon, Glen Arbor and more. If all of the VRBOs are as easy to book, are exactly as described, and have such excellent hosts, we will be doing this more often. We didn’t want to leave! That’s the best way to describe our stay. A couple extras, they had Netflix set up on two tvs. They had a perfect fire pit in a pretty private back yard. Perfect view of the stars at night. You are in the west side of the state in the beginning of July so the sun is t gone until after 10pm. It was ideal. Quiet neighborhood. I slept with the windows open every night and only heard nature. Highly recommended.
