Stay among the vines at Chateau Briedé, a 4,200-square-foot luxury retreat set on the grounds of Briedé Family Vineyards in Virginia’s beautiful Shenandoah Valley. With sweeping vineyard views, a private pool, a relaxing hot tub, three spacious master suites, and elegant indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, the Chateau is designed for memorable wine country escapes.
Hosted by the owners of Briedé Family Vineyards, we’ve spent years welcoming thousands of guests to our tasting room. We created Chateau Briedé with that same personal hospitality and attention to detail, offering a private estate where guests can truly relax, reconnect, and experience vineyard living.
Wake to peaceful vineyard views, enjoy coffee on the terrace, spend the afternoon by the pool, then unwind in the hot tub as the sun sets over the vines and mountains. Historic Winchester, local restaurants, shopping, and Shenandoah Valley attractions are just minutes away, yet the Chateau feels wonderfully removed from the everyday.
More than a vacation rental, Chateau Briedé offers the rare opportunity to stay on a working vineyard. Watch the seasons unfold among the vines, stroll the property, and enjoy award-winning wines just steps from your door.
The home features three generous master suites, making it especially well suited for couples traveling together, family getaways, girls’ weekends, milestone celebrations, or a relaxing escape with friends.
Every stay includes a complimentary bottle of wine from Briedé Family Vineyards and a thoughtfully prepared charcuterie board waiting for your arrival. Settle in, uncork a bottle, and enjoy a taste of the hospitality that defines our vineyard.
Once you arrive, there’s little reason to rush anywhere. Relax poolside, soak in the hot tub beneath the evening sky, enjoy the vineyard views, or have dinner delivered directly to the Chateau from one of several local restaurants.
We also provide a comprehensive guest guide with our recommendations for dining, wineries, shopping, historic sites, and local attractions throughout Winchester and the Shenandoah Valley.
Chateau Briedé combines the privacy and comfort of a luxury home with the beauty and character of a vineyard estate.
Come stay where memories are uncorked, sunsets linger a little longer, and every glass tells a story.
Important Safety Notice: Chateau Briedé is designed exclusively for guests ages 12 and older. Due to a steep spiral staircase, an ungated swimming pool, a hot tub, and other safety considerations, the property is not suitable for infants or children under 12. About the host
Your host
My husband, Paul, and I planted our vineyard in 2013 with a dream of creating exceptional wines and sharing the beauty of vineyard life with others. What began as a passion project has grown into an award-winning boutique winery nestled in Virginia’s beautiful Shenandoah Valley.
We created our vineyard home as a place where guests can slow down, relax, and experience the charm of wine country. Whether you’re enjoying a glass of wine overlooking the vines, spending time with family by the pool, or exploring the surrounding area, we hope you’ll feel the same sense of peace and connection that drew us here.
As hosts, we value hospitality, attention to detail, and creating memorable experiences. While you’ll have complete privacy during your stay, we’re always happy to share recommendations about the winery, local attractions, restaurants, and the region we proudly call home.
We look forward to welcoming you and sharing a small piece of our vineyard lifestyle.
Cheers, Loretta & Paul Briedé
