Lovely two night stay. The hot tub was clean and enjoyable as quick get away for my husband and me. Would absolutely stay again and refer others to do the same.
The little red schoolhouse was adorably decorated, and very relaxing. We enjoyed the outside patio with the hot tub. We also cooked a great steak meal on the grill!!! Just the relaxing little Secluded weekend getaway we were looking for!

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for booking with us.
This property is in a lovely setting and is very clean and well laid out. The host’s photos and descriptions are accurate and the schoolhouse theme is charming. Would be improved by providing chairs that match the outdoor table (the patio chairs are too low to eat at the outdoor table) and the mattress had an uncomfortable indentation on one side. Overall, a great choice.
We had a great experience at the Little Red Schoolhouse! The place was impeccably clean and the decor captured an old-school theme that added unique charm to our stay. One of the highlights was definitely the hot tub after riding the trails and some hiking at Cacapon State Park. It was the perfect way to unwind after a long day. The rental was loaded with everything we could possibly need, making our short stay comfortable and enjoyable. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this little gem for anyone looking for a cozy, clean getaway. Best part watching the Phillies shut out the Mets! Thank you again!
I came from Utah to be baptized in Augusta, West Virginia. This school house was the perfect place to read my bible, meditate, and just have a couple simple days to prepare. It had everything i could want and then some. I sat by a fire and watched the fireflys across the field. I cooked and read my Bible and just breathed in life. I took some time to walk down the road aways and enjoy the rolling hills and flowers and deer. What a beautiful area! i had an adventure hiking the PawPaw tunnel trail and enjoyed driving through Winchester seeing history and historical houses. Just a blessed experience from beginning to end.
