This property was a little slice of heaven for us. So peaceful, beautiful view, clean, and well equipped. It is out of town and relatively secluded yet close to everything. Plenty of games to keep the kids entertained while Dad got a bonfire going. I miss the back porch swing already!

This place is absolutely beautiful! The property is so peaceful that I could have sat on the porch swing and read a book all day long. The home was immaculate and our hosts thought of everything we could possibly need. It was just my mom and I on this trip, but I could definitely see bringing the whole family there sometime. The back patio with its plethora of chairs sitting around the fire pit, and the massive (and I mean massive) kitchen island is the perfect set up for a big family gathering. We didn’t bring our dogs, but the hosts even had dog bowls and plenty of treats ready for if we had. The fact the property sits so close to Fennville, Douglas, Sagatauk, and Holland made it the perfect spot to call home base. No matter what we decided to do that day we were only 10-15 min from our destination. I love old farmhouses. I was very impressed at how well the owners were able to make the house feel comfortable with beautifully remodeled bathrooms and higher end appliances, and yet kept the farmhouse true to its roots, like with the original wood floors upstairs. The floor is a little creaky, but it wouldn’t be an old farmhouse if it wasn’t. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Having the little library along with a record player and lots of vinyls was a nice touch as well. I can’t wait to go back!
