Tuscany at its finest Delightful Apartment

This property was just delightful! The true Tuscany experience can be found in this apartment and the surrounding community. The pool was a delight and was huge! Plenty of sun chairs and shade when needed, in the middle of a real Italian garden with grapes, lemons and other treasures made for an intriguing stroll. The community had everything we needed, a family restaurant, fabulous gelato shop that also served drinks (that was fun), and small markets. The city of Lucca was only a few moments away and while we loved visiting the city, we were happy to retreat to our little paradise. The hosts were welcoming and treated us well -- they truly wanted us to be comfortable.

Very pleasant and responsive hosts. Unfortunately we were there during a heatwave and it was quite uncomfortable with no aircon, especially overnight. The mosquitoes are really bad, the owners kindly provided repellent equipment but we'd already been eaten! The pool is nice and we had it to ourselves everyday. The kitchen could do with more cooking utensils (no wooden spoons). Nice location. You need a car here.
