Hello and welcome to the “Strandiris.” This quietly located apartment is on the ground floor of a small, two-story townhouse. The “Strandiris” is about 50 square metres in size and has its own parking space. The area here in Wenningstedt is characterised by single-family homes. The beach, shopping, and restaurants are all within easy reach. Children naturally feel at home in all of the island’s towns—no wonder, since Sylt boasts the world’s largest sandpit with over 40 kilometres of fine sandy beach—but Wenningstedt has made a name for itself as a family destination. In winter, an ice rink is set up right on the cliff, next to the futuristic and unmissable Gosch-Palast; in summer, beach volleyball is played there; and year-round, “Sylt4Fun” also offers fun in the Norddörferhalle with a bouldering wall, trampoline, scooter course, and other rotating attractions.
