We have been coming to Ashland for a week every year for more than 10 years. Of the 8 places we have stayed, our favorite by fare is Oberon - Second Spring. The property is cozy, very clean, upscale and has great AC for those really hot days. It is 2 blocks from the food coop, 3 blocks from the theater and very close to all the restaurants in downtown.Unlike most of the other places we have stayed, the manager lives nearby and is very prompt to respond to any questions or requests.I am looking forward to coming back for many years to come.
We travel from California twice a year for OSF. Second Springs is one of two VRBO properties we stay in when visiting Ashland. The Oberon unit is our favorite. Has everything you’ll need. The kitchen is compact but has a microwave, toaster oven and refrig. There is a Nespresso coffee, drip coffee maker and an electric kettle. Other countertop cooking equipment is also available. Very beautiful property, great location in town, very short stroll to OSF.
The property looked just like the pictures only better! The directions took me right to the property and on site parking was readily available during my stay although there were spots available behind the property as well. It was an easy walk to events and restaurants as well as Lithia Park. As a single traveler I found the space ideal as it gave me room to spread out but still felt cozy. I especially liked the larger bathroom. It had everything that I needed for my stay.
This property is very close (a block or so) from Main street and just about 4 blocks from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival theaters. Close to restaurants, coffee shops, book stores, and Lithia Park. Nuna, who was filling in as host, was helpful and generous. I would recommend this property highly.
We stayed here the previous summer and liked it so much we stayed again. Very nice place with comfortable bed, great bathroom, nice living room. Easy off-street parking. Very quiet but also very close to walk into town and to the Oregon Shakepeare Festival. We stayed in the one-bedroom which has a smaller kitchen but it was perfectly adequate for us. Everything was very clean and nice. We hope to return another year.

Excellent accommodations, great location, we will return!
We had such an excellent stay at Oberon! It was everything advertised and more. It was beautifully decorated and so clean. The gorgeous yard and plantings we could see from every window. Antea was a perfect gracious host. In walking distance to downtown, restaurants, and the theaters. Can't wait to go back!
We loved this property for its perfect location for seeing plays, walking in Lithia Park, dining & shopping. It’s attractively furnished and cozy on the inside with plenty of light, a comfortable bed, and a well equipped mini-kitchen. The grounds are especially pretty and we really enjoyed the garden with its soothing fountain. The on-site caretaker was lovely as well (on-hand to assist with any needs, friendly, and unobtrusive- the perfect host). Wish we could have stayed longer - we’re already looking forward to our next stay!!
Immaculately clean. Beautiful garden. Ample parking. Close to town for shopping, restaurants and plays. The kitchen needs a toaster, not a toaster oven, which hard to get to. This will not keep us from returning next year.
This is a very cute apartment, everything very clean and comfortable! The back yard is beautiful, and the location is fantastic. Easily walkable to Shakespeare, restaurants, Lithia Park, etc. Would definitely stay here again!
The charm of the home met all expectations. Location is great. We have been spending time in Ashland for the last 20 years and this home rates near the top
My friend and I travel to Ashland often and Oberon was the best spot we've stayed at! The property is clean and convenient and cozy. Thank you so much for your welcoming property.
My daughter and I loved staying for a weekend to visit SOU. Gorgeous home very walkable to downtown. Safe, clean, easy parking. Highly recommend for one or 2 people.
