We were pleased with location of Oakwater Resort (10-15 minutes to Disney!); everyone was very friendly; we appreciated the added security of the gated community and the amenities of the resort; we were grateful to have Walmart within walking distance; we appreciated that the unit faced the pond with a sweet little screen porch and had ample space for us to spread out for a month. Main bedroom was spacious and bed was comfortable. We appreciated having onsite laundry. We were grateful for the helpful advance communication and the ability to check-in early. Management was responsive to our texts.

The condo was less than 15 minute ride to ANY Orlando attraction and next door to a Walmart for any necessities. The gated community provided additional security. Pool was clean and big enough for residents and guests. There was not a grill available from our host, so onsite cooking was inside only. The unit needed some updates and repairs, but was adequate and comfortable for our needs.

Great condo close to Disney

Ive stayed in numerous condos on the 192 corridor, and this was right up there with the best of them. The check in was super easy with the info provided by management. The complex feels secure and very quiet. We only used some bowls and a few utensils, but the kitchen appear adequate for cooking. The condo was larger than I expected, and the master suite was really roomy with a large bathroom. The condo pretty much as close as you can reasonably stay without being on property. We were at AK parking gate in less than 10 mins. Having Walmart close by was a plus, and ypu dont have to get out in traffic to get to it. I would stay there again.

Updating needed.

The property and people were very friendly. Location was close to attractions and shopping. The pool was large and the hot tub was good. Now for the not so good. When we entered the condo and turned the lights on we had hundreds of small flies buzzing around the lights. The carpet was stained and the furniture was worn and tearing in spots. The hallway bathroom toilet was leaking, the seal needs to be replaced. The refrigerator door wouldn’t close properly once things were on the rack inside the door. We had to push the door shut and hold it until it sealed. I text the property owner when we arrived like they asked. In the text I asked them to give me a call but they never responded. With some updating and repairs the unit could be much better and go for a higher rental price. Until this is done there are so many other properties to choose from in this price range.

We are family of six visiting Orlando area for 3 nights stopping for Disney World and nearby attractions. The condo is very clean, enough sleeping spaces for our family, and the amenities are very guests (kids) friendly specially after long days rushing in the Disney parks . We only cooked one night but there was great experiences with the provided cook wares and stuffs. Great place, and we will definitely be back for our next vacation in the Orlando area. The neighborhood was really nice. The convenience to Disney was terrific.

I called everyday, sent a text and still got no answer to take care of the needed repairs. The Nemo room had a TV that never worked, the lamp in the livingroom did not work, the remote for the livingroom was not helpful and there were a few other lesser items that needed attention. I was disappointed and will look for other rentals when I come back.
