Great location, lovely beach access. Accomodations were nice just a bit dated. Some curtains would go a long way in the bedrooms as they were both very bright. The bathrooms and showers could use some TLC and updates. Overall happy with our stay.

Clean condo and on the beach! Excellent property management, well kept pool and property. We would love to purchase a condo here but until we do will keep returning!

Perfect Stay for South Padre!

We loved our stay at Sangria! This is our second stay at the property, but our first in this condo. The condo is clean, up-to-date, and very comfortable. Perfect for our family of 3.

Great time at Sangria

From check in to check out the Sangria was a pleasure to visit. Right on the beach. The site manager was very helpful and friendly from the beginning and through checkout. Will stay there again when returning to SPI.

Beach view was cool and the location was nice and quiet. Older unit but was clean, weird thing was no beach chairs to use or beach/pool towels to use. Also, we only received 2 rolls of toilet paper for 6 days stay with 4 adults. We were expected to pay for more towels and toilet paper if needed.

Management needs improvement. I was dealing with 2 entities, evolve and vrbo. It was confusing and frustrating. I made reservations. My other family was checking in a day earlier than me. I confirmed this with someone. But when my family tried to check in, desk wasn't aware. Had to make several phone calls at 9 pm. Frustrating. Condo was nice.Beach chairs need to be thrown away. Broken and rusted. Water pressure was low.

Thanks for your comments. Not sure what “evolve” is but through VRBO we always respond to any renters concerns. We also have an onsite manager that sends welcome emails and is there daily and in the welcome email lists emergency contact information. We’re sorry your stay wasn’t what you were hoping for and we can do better next time. Salt sand and humidity does take its toll on the beach gear. We’ll address the chairs. Thanks.

The place was a great spot for my family’s trip to South Padre. Condos were super cute, everyone was very friendly/helpful, and it was just a short walk to the beach. Host was very responsive and great to work with as well - would definitely recommend!

Long Weekend on SPI

The last time I was on SPI was 1979, and that was one of my Spring Breaks. That tells you how old I am. ;-) This was a walk down memory lane + a long weekend by salt water. A long weekend was NOT enough time, I could have easily stayed a whole week, maybe more. Loved the Sangria property, such a great location and beautiful view.

Very nice!

My wife and I were impressed with the accommodations. Hot tub and pool were also nice. The provided ice and filtered water were appreciated. It’s refreshing to stay at in a smaller building without so many people around. All the staff we interacted with were very pleasant, especially the maintenance guy (Gilbert) and pumpkin! The weather was cold, but that’s a risk you take in early March. We will be back.

Cute Spot

Cute spot for our weekend getaway, close to the beach and with gated off-street parking. The property manager Gina was quick to help us with finding the cot and sheets at check-in. Grounds staff are friendly too. It’s especially nice that it is not a typical high rise building.

Spectacular Views

I can't say enough good things about this property! From the check in to the check out every thing was great! The condo itself is well laid out, beds comfortable, all the kitchen tools you need to cook a meal. The pool is nice and pretty quiet for the most part and there are plenty of pool toys. The best part for me was the beach, of course, and when we weren't down there we had these amazing views from our balcony. A great place to enjoy morning coffee and a glass of wine in the evening. Our host, Chad, was very responsive and Gina, the property manager, was just great, answering all our questions and just being very helpful. We loved our stay and yes, we will come back to the Sangria!

Nice but outdated

Inside of condo was clean and nice . Bathrooms and kitchen really need updating and very borderline. Proximity to the beach was awesome ! Back of the property was really nice . There is a reason the front of the property is not in any advertisement pics lol !! Very outdated and sketchy looking . Pool was nice for kids and staff was very friendly .

Great spot for beach fun

We loved the close proximity this place was to the beach. The king size bed was comfortable, the TV was a nice big size, and we had a decent view of the beach from the balcony. We will be coming back here the next time we are in South Padre!
