Located in the quiet neighborhood of Jensen's bay, your home is situated overlooking the bay with spectacular vistas featuring majestic Meares Island and the waterways of nearby Tofino. Expect to see ocean and shoreline wildlife, including eagles and many other bird species, including our daily hummingbird visitors right on the property, while enjoying your BBQ on the wrap around sundeck. Also view from within the home with its unique vaulted ceiling, and panoramic view. Many other bird species, and occasional bears to be seen foraging out on the mudflats, we've even had some very rare wolf sightings in the clearing just 100m across the bay.

Although we are waterfront, there is no beach access.The home is situated on beautiful Jensen's Bay, with low tides, which reveal the tidal flats, and high tides which create a lake-like setting. Just a short walk, or a 2 minute drive over to world-famous Chesterman beach, with its unique shore-walking, surfing, tidal features, storm watching, and enjoying the all the beauty of the west coast.

Tofino by-law requires that all rentals have a resident on the property . Therefore, there are occupants in the ground level suite of this home. They have their own separate entrance, and they do not enter the rental suite, or share any common room with guests other than the laundry room which is on the ground level suite. The upper decks and hot tub area is for exclusive use of the guests, and guests have access to the entire property.

For your supplies and further adventures, Tofino town is just 5 kilometers down the road, with plenty of restaurants, shops, bars amenities, stores and tour operators, where you can charter your fishing, kayaking and whale watching trips, and rent your surf gear.
