Needs updating a lot
The property is in a lovely location and is spacious inside. The owner seemed polite enough but I wasn't too impressed being told I hadn't called her before we arrived after driving for 11 hours to get there, it didn't say anywhere that we needed to call in advance especially given that we arrived at about 6pm. Maybe the owner was expecting us to call a hour or so before because the property wasn't cleaned properly or prepared with a cot as requested before we came.
The property didn't look like it had been updated in years as there were a lot of things that were not working or very dated.
As previously mentioned, the property was spacious and had 3 good size bedrooms, there were blankets in the cupboards but unfortunately they were not very clean and we had to wash them ourselves whilst we were there.
I don't know if it is a common problem with holiday rentals but there was absolutely no household products or basics in the property including washing up liquid, bin bags, salt and pepper, toilet roll. We had to spend a lot of money buying these basic things which we expected to already be at the property in some form.
I would recommend the area that the property is in but I wouldn't recommend the property itself until it has been majorly updated.
