The apartment is located on the slopes of Monte Serra about 200 meters. s. L.M. nestled among the olive trees of a farm, it enjoys an exceptional view of the valley below to the sea. Recently renovated, it is furnished in a typical Tuscan style with fine finishes; it consists of: kitchenette, fully equipped, large and bright double bedroom, living room with sofa bed, bathroom with shower, closet.
The apartment has an exclusive private parking, a garden equipped with table, chairs, deckchairs, barbecue and a pleasant swimming pool with a view of the valley.
In the village of Calci, about 1km. from the house, it is possible to visit the monastic complex of the Certosa Monumentale (one of the most beautiful and important in Italy), the Museum of Natural History of the University of Pisa, the 11th century Romanesque church and a large number of chapels and hermitages of great historical-artistic interest.
From the apartment you can leave for nature walks and trekking routes.

Amazing house, amazing hosts

The house and it's place in the landscape is better than what we could've hoped for, there couldn't be a better place for a relaxing vacation. Definitely the best part is the host though, very nice, warm and caring, thank you so much! We'll definitely come back.

Magnifique

La localisation est top, près de Pise, non loin de Florence, de Lucques et de Sienne. La vue est superbe. L'appartement est bien agencé, contrairement a ce qui est indiqué la machine à laver n'est pas dans l'appartement et n'est pas à disposition comme on le souhaite. L'expérience fût agréable mais entaché par un litige sur la piscine en fin de séjour.

Leider was anderes als ich gebucht habe

Wir sind nach 2 von 21 Tagen wieder ausgezogen. Das sind im Grunde 0 von 5 Sternen. Ich gebe trotzdem 3 von 5 und halte das für ausgesprochen fair, besonders da wir natürlich auf den Kosten sitzen bleiben. Warum sind wir so schnell wieder ausgezogen? Ich habe (laut Beschreibung) ein Ferienhaus mit Privatpool gesucht und nach der Beschreibung auch gebucht. Das bedeutet für mich: Eine Unterkunft mit einem Pool den nur für mich da ist. Vor Ort haben wir ein Apartment vorgefunden bei dem wir uns den Pool mit den anderen 3 Apartments auf Gelände teilen mussten. So hätte ich das Objekt nie gemietet, da es genau das ist was wir nicht wollen. In der Beschreibung war das in keinster Form ersichtlich. Die Beschreibung ist – meiner Meinung nach - schlicht und ergreifend irreführend. Warum gebe ich trotzdem 3 Sterne? Unabhängig davon das ich etwas völlig anderes bekommen habe als ich gebucht habe, war das Objekt sauber und vor allem die Vermieter ganz liebe Menschen. Sie haben mir glaubhaft versichert das es sich Übersetzungsfehler handelt in der deutschen Beschreibung und ich möchte das glauben. Da erwarte ich aber das die Beschreibung geändert wird. Von der ursprünglichen Beschreibung habe ich übrigens Sceenshots, nur damit niemand behaupten kann ich würde lügen. Zwei Punkte noch In der Küche gibt es extrem wenig Fläche um etwas abzustellen Und bei der Abfahrt setzt auch mein Auto (Handelsüblicher Kombi (Renault Talisman)) mit der Frontschürze auf wenn man durch den Torbogen fährt

Die Lage ist traumhaft, nur die Auffahrt durch ein enges Tor ist vor allem mit Rädern etwas schwierig. Die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit und herzlich. Calci liegt sehr gut, ganz in der Nähe von Lucca und Pisa.

Für uns perfekt

Wir freuen uns, diesen tollen Ort für uns entdeckt zu haben. Für uns hat einfach alles gepasst. Die traumhafte Lage zwischen Olivenbäumen, die tolle Aussicht und die Ruhe. Die Ferienwohnung ist gut ausgestattet und die Größe hat für uns zu dritt super gepasst. Die Moskitonetze an den Fenstern waren prima. Ein richtiges Highlight war für uns der perfekt gepflegte Pool mit einer tollen Aussicht. Die Vermieter pflegen im Hintergrund alles perfekt und sind fast unsichtbar. Wenn man allerdings reden möchte, sind es ganz herzliche, freundliche und aufgeschlossene Menschen. Wir freuen uns schon auf die nächsten Urlaube dort. Ach ja, das in den Kritiken angesproche Bellen der Hunde… die Hunde gehören nicht den Vermietern. Wir waren schon öfter in der Toskana im Urlaub, in Italien werden die Hunde oft draußen gehalten. Und manchmal bellen sie dann nachts. Passiert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Schöner Urlaubsort, leider nicht so ruhig wie erwartet

Die Unterkunft liegt romantisch im Grünen am Hang eines Tals nahe Pisa. Die Wohnungen haben Mosquitonetze an den Fenstern, eine recht gute Ausstattung und sind trotz Hitze recht kühl. Die Zufahrt führt durch eine sehr (!!!) schmale und steile Zufahrt, was jedes Mal mit unserem Kombi Milimeterarbeit war. Beim Runterfahren sind wir zudem immer fast aufgesetzt - das hätten wir gerne vorher gewusst. Zudem hatten wir uns ein ruhiges Plätzchen erhofft, leider war ausschlafen ohne Ohropax quasi nicht möglich, da jeden Morgen (auch sonntags..) das Gebell der Hunde oder der Landmaschinen (Motorsense, Rasenmäher…) zu hören war. Der Pool ist ein toller Platz mit Aussicht, hier lässt es sich aushalten auch wenn man die Schattenplätze unter den Olivenbäumen nachmittags suchen muss, da es keine Sonnenschirme gibt. Hier am besten selbst einen mitbringen.

Dobbiamo precisare alcune cose: si tratta di una casa in campagna, ma tutti i nostri ospiti arrivano in macchina e nessuno si lamenta della strada che è tranquillamente percorribile, anche in questo momento ci sono altre persone con macchine uguali o più grandi della vostra e tutti i giorni vanno e vengono senza problemi. E' una strada privata con solo 5 abitazioni e quindi anche il traffico è ridotto al niente. Una casa su una grande strada sarebbe stata più adatta alle capacità di guida, ma non avrebbe dato di sicuro la vista e la tranquillità che cercavate. Noi non abbiamo cani, quelli che voi dite sono in case nella vallata e noi non abbiamo nessun potere su proprietà altrui. La piscina è dedicata a zona per prendere il sole e quindi non ci sono ombrelloni, ma intorno alla casa, dove ci sono i tavoli all'aperto c'è sempre ombra e, come si vede nelle foto e nella descrizione della casa ci sono ombrelloni a disposizione degli ospiti. Per quanto riguarda i rumori dobbiamo precisare che il taglio dell'erba dei giardini viene effettuato il sabato poichè è il giorno in cui avvengono i cambi e non inizia mai prima delle h9 di mattina, dato che la casa deve essere lasciata entro le h10 e ci sembra un orario ragionevole. Ci dispiace molto che la vostra esperienza non sia stata positiva e che possiate trovare situazioni più adatte al vostro gusto.

Prachtige plek met zwembad

Wij hebben een heerlijke 3 dagen gehad, boven op de berg. Er komen was de eerste x wel spannend, daarna ging het een stuk beter. Prachtig onderhouden grond met 4 appartementen en een zwembad. Appartement was ruim en schoon. Prachtig uitzicht en lieve verhuurders, welke ook snel reageren. Als we weer in de buurt zijn gaan we zeker terug.

We enjoyed our stay at the property of Anna and Raffaele. It is beautiful with the pool, the garden and the view! Perfect either for relaxing or taking a trip. The last meters to the location is interesting, but only the first time (As Anna said). Also good to know: there are also other apartments/studios which you can rent at the same site - perfect if you want to go there with your family/friends and need more space. Thank you Anna and Raffaele again for our nice stay and your recipe!

Nette Wohnung mit traumhaften Blick

Die Gastgeber sind super nett und kümmern sich um alles was man braucht. Der Pool wird regelmäßig gereinigt. Man kann da erholsame Stunden verbringen. Die Lage ist für Ausflüge nach Lucca, Pisa, Florenz usw. sehr gut. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, lediglich die Dusche ist ziemlich eng. Die Straße zum Haus ist relativ eng und kurvig durch einen Olivenhain. Vor allem Nachts nicht ganz einfach zur fahren. In der Beschreibung stand leider nicht, dass eine Treppe zur Wohnung und an den Pool führt. Für Menschen mit Gehproblemen ist die Unterkunft nicht zu empfehlen. Während unseres Aufenthalts bellten die Hunde von der anderen Seite des Tales relativ lang anhaltend, selbst Nachts noch. Da können zwar die Vermieter nichts dafür, uns hat es aber schon sehr gestört. Insgesamt waren es aber schöne 10 Tage.

Comfort e relax in posizione strategica

Io e la mia compagna abbiamo passato una piacevolissima settimana presso questa struttura. L'appartamento è dotato di tutto ciò che occorre ed è molto accogliente e comodo. Essendo in collina si respira un'aria più fresca e meno umida, è sempre presente un gradevole venticello che contribuisce positivamente, sia all'esterno che all'interno dell'appartamento (grazie alle zanzariere si possono lasciare sempre le finestre aperte). La piscina condivisa poi è davvero un valore aggiunto, farsi un bagno in tardo pomeriggio dopo una giornata passata in giro rende tutto più gradevole. Posizione ottima sia per visitare i dintorni (Pisa è a 10 km e Lucca a 20 km, solo per fare un esempio), sia per andare verso la costa e il mare (una mezz'oretta d'auto). Infine spendo 2 parole per Raffaele ed Anna (abbiamo interagito più con quest'ultima), ottime persone, gioviali, accoglienti, mai invadenti, disponibili e simpatici. Se non fosse che ogni estate ci piace cambiare meta tornerei sicuramente anche l'anno prossimo!

Goede uitvalsbasis voor bezoek noord Toscane

Uiterst vriendelijke ontvangst met begeleiding vanuit het dorp naar het verblijf. De laatste paar honderd meter vragen om een aandachtige chauffeur. Verblijf was netjes en goed uitgerust. Heel mooi uitzicht over de vallei. Perfect voor ons tweeën. Op de berg is het 's avonds net wat frisser dan in de vallei waardoor het in de kamer aangenaam slapen is in het ruime bed ( dat helaas wat kraakt.) Calci zelf hebben we niet verkend, maar wel Pisa, San Gimignano, Lucca, Firenze en de Cinque Terre. Heel leuke vakantie gehad !!

"Nous avons été accueilli très très chaleureusement par Rafaelle et Anna.La location est très bien pour 4 personnes. Les 2 semaines ont passé très vite car il y a tant de sites à voir, de belles randonnées au départ de Calci, sans oublier la plage.Le gîte est très agréable et la vue de la piscine sur les montagnes magnifique. Nous ne manquerons pas de revenir gouter à la "dolce vita" !!"

"Nous avons passé une semaine à Calci. Raffaele et Anna nous on réservé un accueil chaleureux,ils sont adorables. Cette semaine a été formidable, ils nous ont donné de très bons conseils que ce soit sur les visites ou les bons restaurants. L''endroit est magnifique et la piscine très appréciable les jours de grosse chaleur, au retour de visite. De Calci il est facile de se rendre à Pise et Luca. Nous sommes allés à Florence en train et avons évité bouchons et parking. Nous retournerons à Calci c''est certain !!"
