Welcome to Villa Pastori!
The property was built in the late 1700s and is a fine example of Venetian Villa, the same ones that were used by Venetian nobles during the hot summer to relax, so well described by Goldoni in his "Trilogy on vacation."
Today, Villa Pastori offers its guests the charm of living the exciting and comfortable living in a villa for an economical price.
In 2005, it was made the great rejuvenation of one of the three buildings that make up the property - one of the two Barchesse. The restoration of the original structure and the complete restoration of the masonry and the roof allowed to create three apartments full of all comforts for our guests, from the bathrooms to air conditioning, from dishwasher to a fully equipped kitchenette, from central heating to the necessary straightener
L 'Linden apartment is on the ground floor and consists of a living room with kitchenette, a double bedroom and a bathroom. In the living room there is a sofa bed for two people, a table with four chairs and TV
Outside is a lovely, quiet environment. The 3000 square meters of park are freely accessible for our guests, the large gazebo and barbecue are behind the Villa. An outdoor dining area, with table / chairs for each apartment, is placed inside the porch to let our guests enjoy the view of the landscape during the long and enjoyable meals.
Why not start with a little 'of bruschetta and a bottle of local wine? You can then consume the calories exploring other villas on the Brenta canal on our courtesy bicycles, as the route is very close to the villa. Or you can just read a book and relax on the sun beds available in our park.
Being just a few minutes from the center of Mira, the villa enjoys a position that will allow you to isolate yourself from the rest of the world and take delight of the charm of these land, but with the security that the nearest center is only 5 minutes by car.

We spent an amazing time!

The rooms were nice and clean and we had everything we wished for. Check-In/Check-Out were uncomplicated and went smooth. All requests we had during our stay were answered on short notice. Perfect for visiting Venice (by train) and for discovering the region.

Very pleased with all the facilities, the apartment was very comfortable , good bathroom, kitchen and lounge, we enjoyed the Italian TV, bedroom, wi fi, heating and terrace. Simonetta was charming and helpful. We enjoyed our visit to the family chapel. Mira offers shopping, bars, restaurants, local market and super fish shop!! Good access to Venice by boat and train. Access to and from villa a bit difficult due to proximity to the little bridge

VILLA PASTORI MIRA

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Pastori the last two weeks in September 2008. We stayed in “Tiglio” one of the four tastefully restored apartments within the grounds of Villa Pastori. All apartments have been restored to a high standard and are well equipped, very clean and comfortable. There is also a pleasant outdoor space with seating area and secure car parking. Maria our contact was very nice and helpful as was everyone we met. The Villa is within walking distance of shops, cafes and restaurants in Mira. We would recommend Villa Pastori both as a base from which to explore the Veneto and for easy access to Venice. The boat from Fusina into Venice is a lovely way to approach the city. Chioggia, which is a Venice in miniature with some excellent fish restaurants, is also worth a special mention.

Venedig 2023

Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub in Venedig verbracht. Mit dem Bus 53e kann man in 30 min. von der Piazza Roma in Venedig bis nach Mira fahren (3€) und von dort aus zur Villa laufen. In Mira selbst und am Kanal liegen viele weitere sehenswerte Villen. 2 Dörfer weiter sollte man auf jeden Fall die Villa Pisani besuchen.

Goede locatie voor bezoek Venetië.

Mooi ruim appartement. Prima bed, douche en keukenvoorzieningen. Airco in de slaapkamer was heerlijk bij 32 graden. Zitje buiten deel je samen met twee andere appartementen. 7 min. met de auto van station Mira- Murano en dan ben je in 27 min in Venetië. 3 euro. Geen drukte. Landelijke omgeving met mooie villa’s.

Excellent gîte !

Nous avons passé deux belles semaines dans ce gîte en tous points conforme à l'annonce. Un grand merci à la Signora Simonetta pour son accueil chaleureux et son attention de tous les instants, et pour ses suggestions de visites et de déplacements dans la région. En plus elle adore les chats (comme nous) !! Propreté impeccable, draps et linge de toilette changés chaque semaine. Depuis la gare de Mira-Mirano le train pour Venise Santa Lucia met 26 minutes, et coûte 2,55€ par trajet simple ; à comparer à la vingtaine d'euros pour un parking à Piazzale Roma ou Tronchetto, ou aux 40 minutes pour le Bus depuis Mira. Le bateau depuis Fusina doit valoir le coup d'oeil, mais c'est quand même 13 euros par trajet plus 10 de parking à Fusina. Il faut quand même rouler un peu vers Venise pour les bords, charmants par endroits, de la rivière Brenta. Si vous dépassez Mestre et allez vers Le Lido de Jesolo, ne manquez pas les petites routes bordant la lagune pour admirer les nombreux oiseaux marins (spatules, grands cormorans, huîtriers pie, aigrettes garzette) ! Mira, et ce gîte en particulier, sont à recommander, selon nous, pour des visites faciles à Venise tout en retrouvant le calme chaque soir.

Beau et accueillant !

Peu après notre retour, j'ai reçu un mail d'Abritel, me suggérant de laisser un commentaire sur le séjour. Ce que j'ai fait, MAIS il n'est jamais apparu ici, je suis donc obligé de recommencer :-( Un grand bravo au propriétaire du gîte en tout point conforme à la description (équipements, parc, etc). Et un grand merci à la Signora Simonetta, chaleureuse et si attentionnée ! Le linge de maison, fourni et compris dans le prix, a été changé chaque fin de semaine. Les conseils de visite, les plans et prospectus prêtés, tout cela fut agréable et utile ! En plus Mme Simonetta aime les chats, que demander de plus ! Le trajet de la gare de Mira-Mirano jusqu'à Venise Santa Lucia met 26 minutes, et coûte 2,55€. A comparer aux 26€ de parking sur la piazza Roma ou à Tronchetto. Le parcours en bateau depuis Fusina revient cher également, même s'il vaut probablement le coup d'oeil. Le bus met 40 minutes, à faire une fois, peut-être, pour les bords de rivière Brenta, charmants par endroits. Si vous allez vers le Lido de Jesolo, préférez les petites routes bordant la lagune à la station très touristique. Avec des jumelles si possible, car vous y verrez une multitude d'oiseaux marins ! Nous nous sommes également régalés de glaces - les gelateria omniprésentes n'ont pas d'équivalent chez nous - et de fritto misto. Je ne vous dis rien sur Venise elle même, il y en aurait pour des heures... Bref, un rapport qualité/prix exceptionnel pour ce gîte visité du 13 au 30 juin 2016 - à conseiller !!

Rustikaler Charme, jeder Zeit gerne mal wieder

Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem umgebauten Nebengebäude der Anlage. Wir wurden sehr herzlich von der "Land Lady" empfangen und fanden das "Willkommenspaket" ganz lieb. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man heute erwartet. Dazu gehört auch eine Geschirrspülmaschine. Die Anlage hat uns insgesammt sehr gut gefallen, da sie sauber und gepflegt war. Die Vermietung erfolgte problemlos und wir fühlten uns sehr gut betreut. Die deutsche Übersetzung hat uns immer wieder ein Schmunzeln ins Gesicht gebracht. Da wir unseren Hund dabei hatten, war die Geschlossenheit der Anlage sehr angenehm. Das Auto konnte im Hofbereich geparkt werden und das Tor öffnet sich per Fernbedienung. Zur Verfügung gestellte Räder waren ideal, um den Hund auszuführen. Wir empfanden die Lage der Wohnung als idealen Ausgangspunkt, um nach Venedig zu kommen. Ca. 4km entfernt befindet sich der Bahnhof u.a. in Richtung Venedig. Der Bahnhof verfügt über gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Obwohl sich die Anlage außerhalb des Orts befindet, können alle Geschäfte und Restaurants zu Fuß erreicht werden. Die Lage an einem Kanal und direkt neben einer sehr schmalen Brücke war nachts sehr ruhig. Morgens und abends gibt es aber den einen oder anderen Autofahrer, der die Regelung der Verkehrsführung über die Brücke als Diskussionsgrundlage nimmt. Wenn es aus unserer Sicht etwas zu bemängeln gab: Wir haben leider keinen deutschen TV-Sender gefunden, was uns aber nicht wirklich gestört hat.

Worth returning!!

Our stay in this beautifully renovated little apartment was an enjoyable experience. It's kept very clean and is very well equipped. Although situated close to a quiet road, the triple glazing ensured that we hardly hard the occasional local traffic. The owner and the caretaker of the villa are extremely friendly and helpful and we would certainly recommend this as a very good holiday apartment for all ages and an ideal base from which to explore a very historic part of Italy.

A place with a character

This year I chose to stay at Apartment Platano for the second time. The apartment combines modern facilities with a spirit of a traditional Veneto place. The owner and the manageress are very helpful and friendly, and they do their best to make your stay enjoyable. I'm grateful for reccommending us places such as Cappella degli Scrovegni in Padova, which we wouldn't have otherwise seen. Villa Pastori (the main building of the property) is also a place of interest on its own. I definitely reccommend for anyone who wants to experience Veneto beyond the main tourist-trodden paths.

Schöner Aufenthalt

Wir haben uns in Villa Pastori sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Die Lage ist ruhig und trotzdem erreicht man schnell den Bus, den Zug und auch am Flughafen ist man in ca. 20 Min. Ein idealer Ausgangspunkt um Venedig und die umliegenden Städte zu besuchen. Sogar das Wetter war trotz Anfang November sonnig und warm und man konnte draußen auf der Veranda frühstücken. Simonetta und Alessandro waren äußerst freundlich und bei allen Fragen hilfsbereit. Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt!

Pleasant place to stay

Villa Pastori is a very pleasant place to stay. It's location is very good for visiting Venice and other local cities and towns like Padova and Treviso. The local town has supermarkets within easy walking distance. The accommodation was clean and more than adequate and we were well looked after. We had a look at the chapel which, like the villa itself was of historical interest. I would recommend staying here if you want somewhere quiet and clean with a historical feel.

Fabulous home to explore Venice and northern Italy

My husband, myself and our two young children arrived on March 27th for a 10 day stay. Unfortunately we had some rainy weather but we could not have had better hosts. Simonetta was wonderful, the villa was beautiful and the location could not have been better. We visited Venice twice, Padua twice, Verona and a few small towns as well, and it was all simple and quick. We chose to drive to many of these places but it would have been just as easy to take the train which was only a few kilometers away from the villa. We did take the train once and the ferry once to Venice. We were definitely made to feel at home and all of our needs were taken care of practically before we asked. Everything we needed was in the villa. We were pleasantly surprised to find olive oil, vinegar and pasta available for us as well as a nice dessert cookie on our first night in. Shopping was nearby and typically Italian. We particularly liked the fresh fruit and vegetable market. When we left, Simonetta even surprised our kids with chocolate Easter bunnies. We would highly recommend this place to friends, family and anyone who wanted a wonderful, homelike experience.

Nous avons passé 10 jours dans un des appartements de la villa Pastori en mars 2011. Accueillis très chaleureusement par Maria, qui n'a pas hésité à venir nous chercher au bus, nous avons trouvé un appartement absolument conforme à la description faite, et plus encore car comme neuf, meublé avec gout dans le style de la villa, très bien équipé, nous avons apprécié en particulier le chauffage mural, qui permettait de sécher pendant la nuit le petit linge, et d'avoir toujours les serviettes chaudes. La vaisselle est vraiment complète, rien ne manque et tout dans un état impeccable.Sans oublier une très bonne literie, le calme la nuit, malgré la proximité de la route, mais l'isolation est très bonne. Maria nous a donné tous les renseignements pour les courses( magasins à 5 mns à pied, et les promenades le long de la Brenda, les quartiers à voir absolument à Venise, les bonnes adresses de restau etc...), ce qui fait gagner un temps considérable. Pour aller à Venise, le réseau est très bien organisé, il passe un bus toutes les 5 mns qui va directement à Venise. Grace au pret de vélos de bonne qualité , nous avons pu faire facilement les 3O kms qui nous amenaient à la Villa Pisani en longeant la Brenda. La Villa Pastori se trouve sur un vaste jardin, ce qui peut etre très agréable pour une famille avec enfants. L'entrée se ferme avec un portail automatique, ainsi aucun risque pour les enfants, et les voitures sont également parquées à l'intérieur. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cet environnement après des journées à Venise, heureux de trouver le soir le calme de la Villa. Nous recommandons donc vivement les logements proposés par Alessandro, on ne peut pas étre déçus, tout est absolument parfait! sans compter la gentillesse du propriétaire et de Maria, très acceuillants et prets à nous aider en cas de besoin.

Villa near Venice on the Riviera Del Brenta,

The Villa Pastori is a charming gated Holliday Home. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with a sitting area , T.V. and a sofa. The bedroom is very nice with its wall sconces and wonderful antique’s. The apartment ,Tiglio we stayed in was on the first floor. And is accessible for a person with disability. The front privet patio overlooks a one lane bridge. That was fun to sit out on and watch the cars and people go by with a nice glass of wine and some cheese. The markets are right up the street were you can buy almost anything you need. Alessandro was a wonderful host, and the main house and carriage house with its charming chapel was a nice treat. Visit the regions around the Villa from Padova ,Noventa ,Stra ,Fiesso ,Dolo ,Mira ,Oriago and Venice . The boat ride down the Riviera is great. And worth the money. A stop at The Villa Pasani the most classical of all the Villas and worth the trip. You are within driving distance , about 15 mints from the City of Venice and other regions like Murano ,Spiena , Mestre , and the seaside resort town of Chioggia. My main interests are cinema (my wife and I did not lose every year the Venice Film Festival in Venice) gardening (especially the vegetable garden), reading (books about detective) and my three cats.

Why they chose this property

My family owns from the middle of 1800 Villa Pastori, a typical example of venetian Villa built in the 1780. Now it is rather difficult to maintain the Villa taking into account property taxes, maintenance costs and need of restoration. We then decided to share a part of the Villa (the old warehouses, storage of carriages, the cellar ...) transforming the Barchessa side into three apartments. From the rentals it derives the necessary for the maintenance of the villa, which we could not otherwise bear.
