This is a lovely spacious home in a beautiful setting. The location is just right for exploring the surrounding parks and hiking trails. The whole process was smooth and easy. We highly recommend it to all travelers!

We felt like we could really relax at this house. It was perfectly equipped And in a beautiful location with a boat ramp right next door. We swam in the little cove and enjoyed a quiet weekend with family.

The house was perfect for our family vacation on the lake. There was plenty of room and it was clean! The road to get in pulling a boat and the walk down to the lake were a little difficult - but would definitely come back.

First of all, I have never experienced a more organized host that made this super easy. Second, this is one of our favorites for vacations! We were there with our adult kids and dogs, and everyone had a blast. The lake is absolutely beautiful and the location of the cabin is perfect. The Fish Springs marina was also a blessing on renting a pontoon and was not far away. None of us wanted to go home!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful property on the lake. Loved being right on the lake and the privacy here. We had no issues. The house was clean and the kitchen well-equipped. We appreciated the starter coffee pods. (There was a coffee pot as well as a keurig.) Plenty of towels and robes in the house as well as guest robes in the master bath. Shout out for the soaking tub! Some of the highlights were renting a pontoon boat to cruise the lake, kayaking and just enjoying the breeze from the lake on the front porch. The wifi was good. We also enjoyed having our dog along with us. The communication with Jenelle was very good. We didn't need her for any issues but I feel like we would have received a quick response if we did.

We loved the remoteness of this property. It was an excellent choice to be able to recharge and sit back and relax. Really enjoyed that you cannot hear any traffic noises and at night the area was not impacted by lights from development. Very peaceful. I do recommend renting a boat to explore this wonderful location.

Great Location

Great property with wonderful water views and access. Tons of fish around the dock and boat access area. We also enjoyed not having a lot of other houses around, so the cove was very peaceful. Would definitely visit here again. Take saltine crackers to feed the blue gill at the dock, they will eat for hours.

Perfectly peaceful getaway!

The property is a unique retreat right on the lake with a private boat dock available for our rental. It was perfect for our needs. We had a glorious time, even making smores over an outdoor fire. The property owner/manager went above and beyond to communicate with us. We did not lack for any information and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. I would certainly recommend this quiet property to enjoy the beautiful Watauga Lake and area.
