What To Do While You’re Here
Explore Glacier National Park! In the summertime, this vacation rental is a great base for rafting, biking, hiking, and fishing with Glacier Guides and Montana Raft. The Guest House provides easy access for nordic Glacier National Park adventures in winter. It is located about 45 minutes from the chairlifts at Whitefish Mountain Resort.
About Glacier Guides Guest House
We are fully licensed by the State of Montana as a Public Accommodation. We’ve equipped the Guest House with anything you might need throughout your stay. You’ll enjoy air conditioning on the main level and radiant heat in the tile floors. The entire house is extremely well insulated. Verizon cell service is typically good at this location. There is also a landline available. Free wireless internet is available throughout the house – though keep in mind that Montana is known for its wide open spaces, not its WiFi.
Upstairs
Upstairs, you’ll find a full kitchen, a spacious dining area, a living room with two sofas and flat screen tv with satellite, and a sun room for relaxing. The kitchen has a gas range, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, blender, microwave, coffee maker, pots, pans, bakeware, dishes, glassware, silverware, and a huge island for cooking and entertaining.
Also upstairs are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has one queen bed with an en suite bathroom featuring a tiled shower. The second bedroom has one queen bed with a full bathroom accessed off the hall. There is a shower/tub combination in that bathroom.
Our mattresses are extremely comfortable and were built locally in Bozeman, MT. Our linens are sewn in the USA and are luxuriously soft.
Washer, dryer, ironing board, and utility sink are also located on this level.
Downstairs
Downstairs, the daylight basement is one large open area with one queen bed in a nook of its own, another nook with two twin beds, and a fold out sleeper futon in the lounge area. There is a flat screen TV with satellite, an old fashioned foosball table, and WiFi for your entertainment. Also downstairs is another full bathroom, with a shower/tub combo.
Outside
Outside, you’ll find a large patio, a balcony, and a porch. A gas grill awaits your steaks and veggie burgers. The outside area is large, with plenty of parking and room for towed units such as campers or boats. There’s lots of room for kids to run around, too.
How Close Is The House to Glacier National Park?
The location is very convenient to the main entrance to Glacier National Park, 1.5 miles away. You’ll feel removed from the hustle and bustle of town in the house’s secluded wooded setting, but you’re just a 2 minute drive from the town of West Glacier. You can safely and easily bike or walk to West Glacier, as the Guest House is located on the Gateway to Glacier Bike Path! You can also bike into the neighboring towns of Coram, Martin City, and Hungry Horse.
Adventures From Your Glacier National Park Vacation Rental
Glacier National Park outfitter and concession partner Glacier Guides and Montana Raft is located just down the street from the Guest House. We encourage you to raft, hike, fish, and bike on your Glacier National Park vacation, and we are happy to set up those experiences for you with Glacier Guides and Montana Raft!

COVID-19 Procedures
Your comfort and peace of mind when you are our guest has always been our #1 priority. During the COVID-19 pandemic, that hasn’t changed, but we have updated a few of our procedures:
Increased cleaning of public areas, surfaces, and frequently touched areas. This includes all door handles and locks, light switches, remote controls, faucets, furniture, and other items you may use.
For your safety and ours, we will not enter the Guest House to change linens or perform other housekeeping services unless asked to do so. Of course, for those guests who are staying with us a long period of time, we will work together to find a cleaning routine that best suits you.
In between guest stays, we will spend extra time making certain that the Guest House is in top notch condition. We launder all linens, blankets, towels, and shower curtains using CDC approved settings and cleansers.
Employees will wear masks when cleaning and when social distance is not an option.
At check in, our friendly staff will greet you at our main office at Glacier Guides and Montana Raft. There is nothing to sign or fill out at check in. They will direct you to the Guest House, where the sanitized key will be waiting for you in the lock.
If you have specific questions about our enhanced sanitation procedures in light of COVID-19, we encourage you to reach out to us.
