It is not often that we have found a rental unit with as much attention to detail as this one. High ceiling with expansive windows to give a panoramic view of the ocean that is mere steps from the front deck. Hardwood floors, granite countertops and quality appliances. The Owner very accommodating and attentive to any of our concerns (which were very few). Qualicum Bay is close to Courtenay to the North and Qualicum/Parksville to the South with quality golfing opportunities, cafes, pubs and of course the French Creek fish market. The low tide exposes abundant sandy beach areas for quite walks or scavenging. We highly recommend this property and look forward to staying here again.

Beach walk out property. Fabulous views of Georgia Straits. Modern and fully stocked. Perfect for couples. Queen bed is comfy. If there is a negative, it is right on the OceanSide Route Hwy 19A. But lots of insulation makes it quiet, and on this part of the Island the traffic at night is negligible. On a sunny day you can’t beat it. Restaurant and Pub within 350 meters.We would certainly stay here again.

Our host Jim was very friendly and interesting to talk to and gave helpful advice about things to do in the area.The cottage was clean and well equipped for preparing meals. We spent many hours on the deck looking out over the sea and observing nature. We'd definitely rent this property again if we are back in the area.

Extremely well equipped kitchen with top quality appliances. The light from the huge windows was incredible, not to mention an ever evolving view. This place is close to numerous forested walking trails. A great grocery store in nearby Qualicum.

Even more stunning than the pictures. Ever changing scenery, a perfect spot to relax & watch the waves, and a great central location for exploring the island. The unit is beautiful, well equipped with everything you might need, and more. Wonderful vacation!

Wonderful views
