Beautiful waterfront property with a private beach and dock thirty minutes from Annapolis. Perfect for family reunions or other get together. Enjoy swimming, fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. Not only is this a great get away if you wanted to just relax on the pier or enjoy the firepit area but it is conveniently located near Baltimore, Annapolis, and Washington D.C. for those who want to do any site seeing.

Enjoy the fall and winter as well. The changing of the leaves is a beautiful sight from your spot inside or outside the house.

This is a roomy 3000 square foot home with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Four bedrooms have king size beds with enough space to also put an air mattress, which is a rarity in rental properties. The 5th bedroom is a converted office so can only fit a twin size bed in it. The huge beds are great for the over 6 footers or perfect for someone like myself who is 5 ft and enjoys all the space! There is a daybed in the living room with an additional pull out twin bed for the kids.

Come and enjoy this home that is located on a peninsula which means you have waterviews from all the bedrooms. Enjoy the convenience of being able to see your friends and family fishing off the pier as you sit inside or outside. Bring your bikes to ride on the quiet streets or jet skis if you want to enjoy the view from the water. The beach is an added bonus and your children will love playing in it. Feel safe with the water since the slope is very slow and the children can swim in the water and it is not deep. Depending on the tide, the water depth can range from 4 ft to 6 ft at the end of the pier. This is a wonderful spot for kids of all ages. Whether you are building sandcastles or using the kayak/canoe or just like to sunbath. Enjoy a perfect relaxing vacation!

Great place!

This was our 1st time in Maryland. We wanted a place on the water and that was able sleeps 8 adults and 5 children ages 5-16 comfortably. This home was perfect! The home was situated on the lake with a dock. It had 5 bedrooms (4 bedrooms with king size beds) and a sleeper in the living room area. Plenty of beach towels, fishing rods, access to canoe and kayak. Easy communication with owner and hassle free check-in. We would return and recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing comfortable stay!

Amazing family weekend

This property was a perfect venue for our family get together . There were 12 of us and we all had ample room. There was plenty of linen and towels , beds were comfortable , and kitchen had great selection of cooking needs . The house is beautifully set on a cove. We enjoyed canoeing , kayaking , and fishing . This was a perfect place to spend time with the family and relax. Teresa was easily reached and very responsive. Thank you for sharing your house with us .

We enjoyed our stay. The house had plenty of room for our family with 4 adults and 1 teen. We enjoyed and used the kayaks daily. The water is dirtier than I pictured and the beach only existed for a few hours a day. The house needs a coat of paint, and clean dishes were left on the counter which the binder says guests are charged for. Housekeeping should have put these away and emptied the bugs out of the bug traps before we arrived. They also missed a shoe and toys left by previous guests. Overall, great scenic place to kick back, relax, and enjoy some great Maryland crab.

Family time in Pasadena

There was plenty of space to gather and to also allow for kids to have quiet spaces. The dock area allowed for use of the kayaks, our paddleboards and dinghy. We did have a problem with jelly fish. They listed a propane grill however that has been replaced with a charcoal BBQ. This did not work for us. Overall, it was a good time.

Great Spot

This is my second stay at this home. We love this peaceful spot. Plan to come back again in the future. The only downside is the orientation of the bathrooms, there are three bedrooms upstairs and only one bathroom. Downstairs is a master suite (with bathroom), a twin bedroom, and a full bathroom. So the upstairs bathroom ends up getting shared but many. But it's a small inconvenience for a really great home. We loved using the kayaks and stand up paddleboard. We fished, swam, and caught some crabs. Highly recommend!

It worked

The photos in this listing are a bit outdated. The house itself was comfortable enough but it clearly was not kept to the same degree as the photos. It felt like it has been lived in very hard and while not dirty there certainly was stuff scattered all about (eg used marshmallow sticks on the mantle). The beds were comfortable enough and the AC worked like a champ. In some ways it was nice because we were not worried about the kids damaging anything. The kayaks were a great plus though the beach, even in low tide, was not very large. I felt it a bit overpriced for the location and amenities, but for a multi family getaway with kids it will do the tricks for a few nights

The walls and woodwork hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The trash bins were against the dining room wall, and the wall was grimed with food. The kitchen floor was sticky. The bottom of the shower mat was black with mold. The carpet and upholstery needed cleaning. There was a RING camera in the interior of the house. Piled on the sides of the yard was broken outdoor furniture and stuff which belonged out of sight. Setting nice but cannot recommend.

The property itself is in need of a little tidying and updating, for example the fire pit area does not look as nice as it does in the pictures. Nonetheless a beautiful waterfront property with beach access and pier for crabbing/fishing made for a wonderful family getaway. Quiet neighborhood, friendly folks nearby

The upside of the property was that there was lots of room and the setting is beautiful. Couple things that could be better. Communication, we never did find the fishing poles. Propane, for the price being paid, don't put it on the guest to provide for propane. Furniture, have the couches cleaned. Stains are not attractive.

Fantastic getaway in Pasadena!

If you live in the central MD area and are looking to staycation with a large family, I highly recommend this place. The owner is responsive and the property is fantastic. It feels a little dated, so don't expect anything extravagant, but the amenities are spot-on as described, and you certainly won't be bored! It's a great place to relax and rewind, and also to party and have fun!

Dirty!

The property is in need of a deep cleaning. The touch areas around doorknobs and windows look like they haven't been wiped down in months. The coffee maker had old, used grounds in the basket. The previous tenants left a wonderful face smear on the picture window. The wastebaskets and recycling bins in the kitchen are in need of a cleaning, not just a rinse. The oven hasn't been cleaned in a very long time even though it is a self-cleaning oven. The moveable kitchen island moved on our first day there only to reveal what previous tenants had dropped on the floor and no one cleaned up. The mirror closet doors had fingerprints on the glass where previous tenants had opened the closets. My daughter sat on a chair only to end up with wet pants because the chair cushion was still wet. Other things: there is a gas grill, but no gas. There is a fireplace and a fire pit, but no firewood. There are supposedly fishing poles but that closet was locked. I sent an email to the property owner to see if we could get the closet opened but received no reply. The email was sent on our first day there and we were there for six days. My grandson was slightly injured when he stepped on a wooden step going down to the water and the step broke. Luckily, a trip to the Dr wasn't necessary, only a couple scrapes and bruises. The area is pretty, and the rooms are spacious, but there seems to be little attention to detail when it comes to cleaning and maintaining the property. Also, there are a lot of scuffs and scrapes on all the walls throughout the property. A quick walk through with a can of paint and a paint brush would do wonders.

My husband and I have been vacationing in the Anne Arundel County area for the past few years and would rent a property on the water with a pier to have our family reunions. When we came upon this place with its larger size rooms and private beach, we fell in love with it immediately. We have enjoyed every weekend at this property and now would like to share it with others.
