In addition, one of the double rooms is enriched by a bedroom with two single beds, perfect for families who want to spend time together without giving up privacy.

The garden, reserved exclusively for guests, is a corner of paradise that offers a breathtaking view of a historic medieval tower. Here you will find shaded corners ideal for relaxing during the hot summer days, while the panoramic swimming pool, immersed in the surrounding greenery, will offer you an experience of pure relaxation. The swimming pool is fenced for the safety of children, allowing the whole family to enjoy this corner of paradise in peace. It is also equipped with comfortable armchairs, deckchairs, sofas and sun loungers for maximum comfort. The two gazebos covered with American vine are ideal for outdoor dining or simply enjoying a moment of tranquility, surrounded by the beauty of the hills that surround Lake Trasimeno.

The house is for the exclusive use of the group that books it, guaranteeing intimacy and privacy throughout the stay.

To make your stay even more special, we offer a welcome basket with seasonal organic fruit and vegetables, a good local wine and a delicious chocolate cake, together with pool towels, for a perfect welcome.

The location of the house is perfect for exploring the wonderful art towns of the surroundings, such as Cortona, famous for its Etruscan history and its charming alleys. Furthermore, in an hour or two of travel, you can reach extraordinary cities such as Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Rome, Perugia and Assisi, where you can immerse yourself in the culture, gastronomy and local traditions.

One of the most fascinating features of this place is the night sky, where during the summers it is possible to admire an incredible amount of stars. Beautiful grounds and pool. Everything you need in the house. Good beds and bathrooms. Special feature airconditioning in all bedrooms. Lovely and helpful hosts. One disadvantage was a bit of a dark but comfortable living room. And overall no telephone reception except in kitchenand bedrooms. Great if you want to take a break from work and socials. Beautiful surroundings and we had great trips and hikes in the neighbourhood.

We had a lovely week in this very spacious house. It was very good to have 6 bedrooms, all of which were ensuite. The kitchen is very well equipped with lots of big pots and pans, and had plenty of plates and glasses. It was very easy to cook big meals and all sit very comfortably around the long dining table. The swimming pool is a very good size and has lots of shaded areas around it. Unfortunately there were lots of mosquitoes and horseflies which comes with living in the countryside in a hot country. A hardly used road separates the house from the swimming pool area but it is very safe even for children as there were hardly any cars going by while we stayed there. The house is an old monastery attached to a small church so the bells provide a lovely touch. The owners were wonderful and very helpful. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

Friends and Family birthday holiday

We were a group of 12 visiting the area to spend time together and celebrate a birthday. The accommodation was lovely - and an en-suite for each bedroom was a bonus. It was a hot week but each room had a fan which was perfect. The house had everything we needed and the hosts were very kind. The welcoming cake and local produce was a super touch. The pool area was wonderful and much used.Just be aware that one room with 2 single beds is reached through another double bedroom. This could be a problem if 4 adults were needing the beds. Fortunately, our children made use of those two rooms.

Un excellent séjour

Très bon accueil. Maison confortable et parfaitement équipée dans un environnement agréable. Le bâtiment est séparé du jardin et de la piscine, par un passage donnant accès à une autre maison, mais cela n'est un inconvénient que si l'on a des enfants en bas âge. La salle de séjour est assez sombre, mais comme nous n'étions pas là pendant la journée, cela ne nous a pas gênés. La petite route qui mène au hameau (11 km à partir du lac Trasimène) peut sembler longue la première fois, mais on a tôt fait de s'y habituer. Gubbio, Assise, Spello, Todi, Montefalco, Castiglione del Lago ... etc. sont facilement accessibles. Un "Conad" bien fourni est à 6 km près de Lisciano. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, et cela nous incite à retourner en Italie une fois de plus.

Ein Traum mit Weitblick

Wir haben eine Woche in der val di Rose genießen dürfen, Wunderbarer Pool, feenhafter Garten, Liebevoll restauriertes Haus mit gemütlichen Zimmern. Es gibt sogar Pool Handtücher! Aber unbedingt eine eigene Espresso Kanne mitnehmen bei mehr als 4 Kaffee Trinkern. Vielen Dank an euch für eure Gastfreundschaft, fürs zuhören bei unserem Konzert, und letztendlich für die tolle kulinarische Gastfreundschaft! Dieses Haus bedeutet Urlaub und Entspannung. Und Ruhe mit Grillen zirpen.

Beautiful location and perfect host for a restful holiday

Val di Rose is an ideal "far from the Madding Crowd" location because with Vincenzo and Monica on site we had the benefit of their proximity while being in the depths of the tranquil beautiful and genuine Umbrian countryside where some of us actually came across at night a pair of native porcupines (a truly rare sighting)!! The accomodation was welcomingly and thoughtfully rustic, clean, tidy, spacious, and well equipped - ideal for minimising the need for restaurants or eating out. The landscaped garden around the pool is magical and practical for maximising "al fresco" gatherings and meals. We were also fortunate that the garden fig trees were heavy with ripe fruit ready for eating with Italian charcuterie! On arrival, Vincenzo and Monica provided us with a freshly home baked cake, lasagna, and garden vegetables & fruit. We also enjoyed great pizzas prepared by them. Altogether a perfect Umbrian countryside holiday with helpful and very hospitable hosts. We would love to return.

Idyllisch gelegene Wohlfühloase

Wir waren mit 3 Familien und insgesamt 12 Reisenden für 2 Wochen Gäste von Enzo und Monica. Es war eine wunderbare Zeit, in einem wunderschönen historischen Fleckchen Erde. Die Gastfreundschaft von Enzo's Familie ist grandios, so gab es am ersten Tag beispielsweise als Willkommensgeschenk frisches Obst und Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten und eine Lasagne im Kühlschrank. Für Rat und Tat stand die Familie Cuomo auch stets zur Seite , ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Ausflugsmöglichkeiten gibt es einige, und auch kleinere Lebensmittelläden, Bars sowie medizinische Versorgung (brauchten wir leider) stehen nur ein paar Autominuten entfernt zur Verfügung. Was auch optimal ist, dass jedes Zimmer sein eigenes Bad hat, was bei so vielen Personen echt praktisch ist. Ich kann diese Location aus tiefstem Herzen jedem empfehlen der etwas Ruhe haben will, aber dabei auch nicht allzuweit "weg vom Schuss" sein will. Wander- und Mountainbikemöglichkeiten gibt es der vielen . Danach einen Sprung in das erfischende Wasser des gepflegten Pools... Herrlich...

Séjour très agréable dans une superbe maison

La maison est très spacieuse, très propre et bien entretenue. Le jardin et la vue de la piscine sont magnifiques. Une délicieuse lasagne et un gâteau au chocolat nous attendaient à notre arrivée et le dernier jour, Enzo nous a préparé des pizzas. Merci encore pour l'accueil, nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances en Ombrie !

WONDEFUL, PERFECTION

Enzo and his wife are the PERFECT Host and Hostess. We arrived to a wonderfully clean house and there was a CHOCOLATE CAKE made for us and a LASAGNE in the Fridge. A box of tomatoes waited us on the table, so wine and basic provisions. The rooms (all en suite) were clean, cool and had good views. Ours at the EAST end had a small balcony and the VIEW....breathtaking. The outside area was Perfection, 3 sitting areas with tables and chairs or benches, though we preferred to eat "en famille" neare the pool. There was a BBQ (which we did not need to use). The Pool was cool as.... The garden was manicured. The House had a spacious kitchen with 2 fridge/freezers (one under the stairs in MY OFFICE!) The Clothes Washing machine was also under the stairs in MY OFFICE! There was a DISH Washer in the kitchen, Micro, toaster, kettle, electric hand whisk (wand). There was an indoor dining room (10-12) and seating area, next to the kitchen and cool in the evening, romatic by candle-light. On our last evening Enzo and his wife made us PIZZA - 1 with mushrooms (funghi), one with tomato, one Marghertia (tomato and basil) and one plain (for a friend who had dietary needs). They were perfect hosts and lived above us, so were always there to answer any questions. Parking is outside but screened from the sun. RECYCLING - always a problem in Italy in the past, but now 4 small bins in the house and 3 outside in the grounds. NOTE: Italy uses 3 plugs - one for power and 2 for lighting (one small pin and a slightly larger pin) There IS one unit in the kitchen which covers all three sizes. But check your appliances before leaving home. Adapters are available at most supermarkets. THIS WAS THE MOST WONDERFUL PLACE TO STAY, Grazie Tanti famiglia Cuomo. Destination charmante et relaxante

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine entre amis et enfants à Val di Rose. La maison est grande (nous étions 6 adultes et 7 enfants) et bien équipée. Le petit hameau est charmant et la vue magnifique. Les propriétaires sont super accueillants et discrets. Nous nous y sommes sentis vraiment à l'aise. De très belles vacances, merci Vicenzo!

Fantastic!

Wonderful villa with loads of space for two families sharing a holiday. Vincenzo and his family were very welcoming and happy give us our privacy, but if we needed anything they were there. We had a delicious home cooked meal waiting for us on arrival, and fresh vegetables from the garden during our stay. Very memorable holiday and would definitely recommend - magic!

Wij werden hier heel gastvrij ontvangen in een mooi, ruim en heel proper huis. Ook de tuin is gezellig en mooi. Leuke groene terrassen waar je onder kan zitten en een geweldig zwembad. Wij hadden hier een heel fijne tijd met vrienden.

"Casa incantevole in stile rustico completa di tutte le comodità. Isolata e silenziosa, luogo ideale per cittadini e per chi ama la pace. E'' possibile fare delle passeggiate direttamente dalla casa per i boschi circostanti (noi abbiamo anche avuto la fortuna di vedere i daini) o visitare le molteplici località storiche umbre e toscane. Eravamo in 15 (compresi 7 bambini) e abbiamo trascorso una bellissima settimana. Ringrazio i proprietari per la loro cortesia e la meravigliosa accoglienza."

Le site était très beau, néanmoins,il faut savoir que les cloches sonnent toutes les heures (sauf de 20h00 à 8h00). Les chambres au fond du deuxième étage sont mal insonorisées, attendez-vous à peu de bruit . Les propriétaires sont gentils, disponibles et discrets. Hormis ces petits inconvénients, nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

"Très bon séjour en Toscane ! La région est magnifique et les gens très sympathiques. La maison est belle, spacieuse et très bien équipée, il ne manque rien. Maison très propre et bien entretenue ainsi que le terrain et la piscine. Accueil chaleureux du propriétaire avec huile d''olive, légumes, pâtes ...ils sont discrets et de bon conseil. Ils parlent français ce qui permet un échange amical. On y retournera un jour."

Just over ten years ago we fell in love with a large farmhouse located in an old hamlet of the Umbrian countryside on the border with Tuscany. Once purchased, we threw ourselves headlong into restructuring, today the fruit of that intuition has created a house that welcomes families or groups of friends who want to enjoy their holidays together in total privacy.
We have being enjoying this kind of life more and more during the years and we still love it. We love our peaceful countryside, but we also appreciate the fact that we are close to interesting places and cities like Perugia Siena and Arezzo.
