At the end of a small very quiet hamlet, this ancient farm of family was completely renewed in 2009 to welcome you.
You will appreciate this atmosphere of relaxation. The cowshed is transformed into room of sports and games for children (6è room of 50m2) .The meadow became golf course with its 2 greens (clubs and supplied balls) .Only happiness after your bathing on the beaches of Royan (25kms), your visit of the Ile d'Oléron (50kms), de Ré (88kms) or d'Aix (64kms), your tasting of oysters in the small oyster-farming ports (30kms) or still your visit of the famous Zoo of Palmyre (40kms).You can visit:

Lovely place!

We all loved our stay at Fabrice's house. We enjoyed the house, the garden, the pool, the sport facilities (e.g. ping-pong, darts, table football, golf, biking). Friendly neighbours. Well equipped kitchen. We didn't want to leave. Would highly recommend this house and owner!

Family trip

The farmhouse was well equipped and comfortable. The children, both old and young, enjoyed the games room, the location is peaceful and relaxing - everything we hoped it would be. We looked forward to the cows/bulls visiting their water troughs in the next field - not sure who was watching who! Fabrice and his aunt/uncle answered our calls for help with wifi and plancha with speed and helpfulness, Merci!The farmhouse is in a beautiful rural area but only 15 minutes away from a huge supermarket and Saintes itself. We had a wonderful holiday. Merci Fabrice!

Well equipped property in a peaceful location

We had a lovely stay here. The property was nicely equipped (although could do with a wardrobe in the ground floor bedroom), clean and comfortable. The games barn is a nice touch and we had fun attempting golf. There was a smell of heating oil in the utility/downstairs toilet that was from the leaking tank outside, but Fabrice did explain it had just started leaking and will be replaced shortly. The location was quite peaceful with just a couple of quiet neighbours nearby, but only 5mn drive into Saintes for shopping, site seeing and entertainment.

Varzay Aug 2023

We were two families (4 adults & 4 children) who had a wonderful 2 week stay at Villa. The location is approximately 10 minutes from Saintes which is a pretty town with plenty of shops and supermarkets. The villa is set in green surrounds with lots of space, and has plenty of activities other than the pool. It is also a short easy bike ride to Pissany for a local boulangerie and small shop. My only very small criticism was some of the cooling fans available in the bedrooms were not very powerful, which led to a couple of uncomfortable nights during the hot weather on our stay. The property owners Fabrice & Christine were extremely welcoming and helpful and we would all happily stay here again in the future. Thank you.

Zeer aangename vakantiewoning!

Wij zijn het helemaal eens met bijna alle reviews hier: de vakantiewoning van Fabrice en Christine is zeer goed uitgerust. De ligging is rustig, met prachtig uitzicht op de omliggende velden, mooie zonsondergangen. De keuken is duidelijk uitgerust voor en door mensen die van koken houden, binnen en buiten. Enorm veel zitmogelijkheden buiten voor alle weersomstandigheden, aangenaam zwembad, sauna…Een klein nadeel: de tweede badkamer is bewaard gebleven uit nostalgische overwegingen maar niet echt een volwaardige badkamer.

Viel Platz mit schönem Garten

Das Haus ist sehr groß und gut ausgestattet. Vor allem der Außenbereich lässt keine Wünsche offen! Die Küche ist auch für viele Personen ausgelegt. Das Haus war sehr sauber bei der Übergabe und die Komunikation lief prima. Etwas nachteilig war die extreme Hellhörigkeit und dass es im Prinzip nur ein modernes Bad gibt. Unten ist noch ein älteres Bad, in dem man sich auch Duschen kann, es ist aber sehr klein. Bei vielen Personen ist das etwas nachteilig. Die Stühle am Esstisch in der Küche sind sehr unbequem. Aber dennoch ist es ein wunderschönes Haus, landestypisch erbaut mit wahnsinnig vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten draußen. Der Pool ist auch super! Bei der Lage muss man beachten, dass man zu Fuß in kein Restaurant, Supermarkt oder zum Bäcker kommt. Für Ausflugsziele jedoch ist die Lage sehr gut, man kann viel von dort erreichen und mit dem Auto ist man auch in 10 Minuten beim Supermarkt/Bäcker... Benötigt man Hilfe, ist eine nette Dame vor Ort. Französisch sollte man dann aber sprechen können. Ich würde es definitiv weiterempfehlen.

Nous avons passé une quinzaine très agréable dans cette maison qui est tout à fait conforme à l’annonce. Les enfants, de 7 à 11 ans, avaient tout ce qu’il leur fallait pour s’amuser. La maison est très confortable et bien équipée et permet à chacun d’avoir son espace. De plus, nous avions l’impression d’être seuls au monde, tout en étant très proches de toutes les commodités. Enfin, une mention spéciale à Fabrice et son épouse pour leur accueil et leurs bons conseils.

Nous avons passé un super séjour entre amis dans cette grande propriété, très propre, très bien équipée et très agréable ! Un seul bémol au séjour : qu'il n'ait pas duré un peu plus longtemps. Magique !

Une parenthèse de détente exceptionnelle dans ce havre de paix en pleine Nature , très jolie maison très bien équipée et très bien décorée , parc et piscine très agréables, les enfants ont adorés la salle de sport et les grands ont profitez du baby-foot , pendant que je me délassais au sauna. Nous repartons revigoré, certains de revenir dès que possible. Un grand merci aux propriétaires très sympathiques, pour leur accueil si chaleureux .

Excellent séjour entre amis avec nos enfants de 8 à 16 ans!!! Accueil du propriétaire avec un gros bouquet de muguet, bouteille de pineau des Charentes de famille, propriétaire à l écoute et disponible. Maison au calme fidèle à la description vue dégagée sur champs, piscine top et commerces à proximité ( Pisany ou saintes) salle de jeux top entre 2 baignades pour les petits et les grands! Beaucoup de charme!! Nous recommandons cette location!!

La maison est très agréable, la piscine chauffée et ses équipements au top... plancha barbecue chauffage extérieur, bref rien a dire... De plus les propriétaires sont adorables, pleins de bons conseils et cerise sur le gateau, l'acces au potager. Pour une semaine ou plus de détente...

Un endroit où l'on ne s'ennuie pas!

La maison est au calme au bout d'un petit hameau avec une belle vue dégagée. C'est un endroit fait pour passer de bons moments entre amis ou en famille, des jeux multiples font que personne ne s'ennuie. La literie est confortable et la maison est très propre. Les villes de Saintes et de Royan ne sont pas très loin et donc on peut aussi faire du shopping ou aller à la plage Bref nous avons passé un très bon week-end et nous avons pu aussi profiter des cerises et des fraises du jardin! Enfin les échanges avec le propriétaire sont très faciles ce qui facilite beaucoup l'organisation du séjour
