We would like to warn you that as the building dates back to the XVI century, the stare case is quite steep and the apartment located on the second floor.

The place is located at the heart of old Nice. It was on a busy corridor of markets and restaurants. The stairs to the property were tricky to climb with my bike, but the interior condition was good - nice and clean. It has a full kitchen with free condiments (a lot of them). The host was very helpful gone above and beyond, helped me when my luggage was missing for 2 days. It was a great place to stay during my Ironman World Championship. Cozy place - highly recommend it.

A wonderful homely apartment with great character. Met by our hosts who were available to be contacted at any time. Located at the top of the old town with all its wonderful shops and delicious eating places. Convenient for trams and buses to the station and airport and beyond. Our second stay and we hope to stay again.

Super apartment

I spent 12 days in this well located, clean and cozy apartment. Frédérique and Olivier were warm and welcoming and very helpful, orienting me to the apartment and the neighborhood, and made it clear they were available and easily reachable over the course of my stay if I had any problems or questions. Olivier came the last morning to help with my luggage (help that was much needed as the stairs are steep, narrow and irregular, as is common in older more historically located buildings.). The apartment is in Vieux Nice, near place Garibaldi and sell located for many activities in Nice and the environs. I would happily stay there again when I come to Nice and highly recommend both the apartment and the hosts

...how delightful was our month in Nice. Frederique and Olivier are stellar hosts with an apartment that is beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, sunny, quiet, charming, well-equipped, and perfectly situated for walking or public transportation to all sites within the metro area or beyond. After greeting us at the tram from the airport on Place Garibaldi, Olivier led the way to the apartment (less than two minutes away), and oriented us to everything we needed to know. From then on, the weather was perfect, Cafe Garibaldi was open nearly 24/7, and sightseeing exceeded expectations. We also recommend Lawrence Bohme's humorous and informative book, Old Nice's Changing Heart: Mysteries of a Triangular Labyrinth. Every day we read another section, setting the mood for the day and providing a background beyond the tourist perspective. Amusez-vous bien! Et merci, Frederique et Olivier!

Lovely well located property

This is an authentic French experience, a property run by efficient, nice owners. It is exceptionally clean and thoughtfully prepared. Nice has a wonderful tram which takes you wherever you wish to go within the city. Their new bus station is not so easy to figure out, however, but once you do, it’ s great to go by bus to the villages, St. Paul de Vence and Eze—charming!! All got 1.50 euros one way. Other villages would no doubt be equally good, but we ran out of time. Go to the TI rather than the Nice bus system for village bus numbers.

8 Rue Pairoliere, Nice

A small apartment but plenty big enough for two people. Clean and very well equipped. It is in the old town where there are lots of shops, restaurants and bars. Nice's beaches, promenade and port as well as bus, tram and train services are all within short walking distance . Olivier and Frederique are very helpful and friendly. I would heartily recommend the apartment to other travellers.

Well equiped Nice appartment

This well appointed apartment is in the heart of old Nice. The owner, Frederique met us at the bus stop, which is about a 25 minute bus ride from the airport. The apartment is on the second floor. Bars, restaurants, cafes, busses and trams and grocery stores are a few minutes away. The beach and other attractions are about 10 minutes away. Great place to discover old Nice.

Perfect studio apartment right in the Vieille Ville.

Ingenious use of a small space. This little apartment has everything you need, including the Old Town ambience. Within 5 minutes walk are more restaurants and bars than you could ever want. We especially recommend having drinks in the Cours Saleya - perhaps outside Le Flore, where a band often plays - and le Shapko, which has live music every night after 10 pm, no admission charge. And don’t forget to walk along the Prom’ in the sunshine AND at night.

Très bien accueillis à notre arrivée, nous avons apprécié Nice et ses environs, grâce aux bons conseils de Frédérique. Frederique and Olivier were great hosts with a great apartment. Very responsive responding to my emails, they were happy to meet me at the nearest tram station to show me to the apartment, saving me from trying to navigate the tricky streets of Old Nice. The apartment was great, in a very charming area, exactly as described. I would definitely stay here again.

Nous avons été enchantés de notre séjour rue Pairolière, début mars, chez Olivier et Frédérique, où nous avons passé une semaine pour découvrir la ville de Nice, dont nous ne connaissions que le port ... L'appartement est idéalement situé dans le vieux Nice, au coeur d'un quartier animé et authentique, que nous avons eu le plaisir de découvrir à pied. Le Château, le port, le centre ville, les musées, les théâtres, etc.., sans oublier la baie, ne sont pas loin non plus. Nous avons beaucoup aimé cette ville, qui a tant de choses à offrir, au niveau culturel et culinaire, sans oublier le climat et la douceur de vivre. L'appartement est très bien aménagé, avec goût et originalité. L'ambiance y est sympa, colorée et jeune. Il est très propre et il n'y manque rien. Bravo pour la conception originale qui lui donne beaucoup de luminosité. La seule réserve concerne l'escalier de l'immeuble, étroit et pentu, rendant l'accès à l'appartement quelque peu sportif (!). Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et se sont montrés trés disponibles. Merci à eux et à une prochaine fois! Anne & Dietmar
