As always, this property never ceases to thrill us. It is so beautiful. We saw a hawk, deer, a black snake. It was just an amazing weekend and sitting under the porch while it rains is nirvana.

My husband and I spent a week at this lovely cabin. It's the first VRBO we've rented that looked exactly like photos. There was no disappointment inside or out. It really is beautiful and we felt very boujie! The open concept suited us well and each evening was spent on the front porch. We had wildlife visitors every morning and evening. All quite peaceful. The king bed was comfy, the stone shower- delightful, the hot tub was romantic and the driveway was every Jeepers dream! We brought along yard games and had plenty of space to to toss a Frisbee and play cornhole. The cabin is perfectly located for adventures. We canoed Hungry Mother, hiked Cromers Creek and Rowland Falls, explored Grayson Highlands and drove into Abingdon for lunch and antique shopping. We had a glitch with the power going out after quite a powerful storm and muddled through without power or water. I'd suggest our host provide the cabin with battery operated lanterns, a few flashlights and jugs of water. Maybe lock this all away in the storage closet and make available if needed. Or install a generator if outages are frequent. All in all, it was a wonderful vacation and we enjoyed the house and location.

Beautiful cabin in a very private location. We liked the proximity to several state parks for hiking and biking. The cabin is comfortable, well maintained, and with a very nice hot tub to relax after a day of hiking. Will be sure to return.

Great secluded cabin

The cabin was a great place to spend our anniversary weekend. Easy access to Hungry Mother SP for hiking. Super comfy bed and the hot tub has an awesome set up under the trees. The whole cabin site was fantastic!
