Villa Sicels - Agnone Beach - Syracuse - Sicily

This lovely three story 300 m2 Villa is located in a tranquil private community with direct access to a free sandy beach (350m). Perfectly positioned, this unique hideaway Villa is a ‘gateway' to Eastern Sicily. The east is home to an active volcano, ancient ruins, Baroque cities, and gorgeous beaches, not to mention fabulous food and world-famous wine. Visit Etna, Taormina, Noto, Agrigento, Syracuse, Ortigia, Ragusa Ibla, Avola, Modica and Pachino, to name a few all within around an hour.

The large entrance and formal dining room opens up to sweeping views over the garden. The adjoining living room with open fireplace is perfect to relax with comfortable sofas, Smart TV, satellite, cable, Netflix and DVD player.

Two charming bedroom/studies with double sofa beds are located on the ground floor with views onto the garden.

The first floor boasts three elegantly styled bedrooms with air-conditioning/heating, queen size comfortable beds, fresh cotton linen and private balconies overlooking the garden.

The air-conditioned fully equipped kitchen and additional dining room has all modern conveniences and a wonderful view over the citrus garden. The quality appliances, including dishwasher and cooking utensils will make trying your hand at Italian cuisine a real pleasure.

The Villa has classic styled bathrooms located on each floor with bathtub and all linen provided. The laundry facilities are located in the bathroom on the ground floor.

On the second floor is a small library, which opens onto a 100 m2 of rooftop terrace, with 360 degrees view over the garden and a natural reserve. This fully covered terrace is perfectly set-up with sofas and dining area, fabulous ping pong table making it an ideal location for entertaining or simply relaxing.

The Villa is surrounded by 1500 m2 of landscaped gardens and citrus trees. There are three wonderful outdoor entertaining/relaxing areas and a fully equipped external kitchen with dishwasher and traditional wood-fire pizza oven, making outdoor living and entertaining easy.

This was a very nice setting, in the green, very comfortable air conditioning very effective, ideal for small children, close to the sea and easily accessible from the main road. We appreciated the availablilty of beach umbrella and seats as well as a child buggy! Communication was excellent with everyone in charge of the property.

Un séjour du 27/10/2021 au 05/11/2021, au moment du Medicane qui a frappé Syracuse. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, profité de la cheminée (pour l ambiance car nous étions plus en tee shirt et short). De la plage à 500m, se baigner en regardant l Etna était une belle expérience. Nous étions 7 dans 3 chambres et 2 chambres d appoint. Très bonne literie., Cuisine confortable.

Wir, eine 3-Generationen-Familie, haben wieder einmal die Erfahrung gemacht, dass die Beschreibungen einfach stimmen: eine riesige Villa mit viel Charme, sehr gut ausgestattet, und das verbunden mit einem tollen Service: begonnen bei dem Willkommensmahl, zubereitet von Giovanna, bis hin zu den zwei Gelegenheiten, bei denen etwas nicht funktionierte (und das ist bei einer Villa dieses Alters praktisch unvermeidlich): immer waren Giovanna und ihr Mann für uns da, schnell, unkompliziert und kompetent. Wir haben uns einfach wohlgefühlt und können die Villa uneingeschränkt empfehlen - und für die vielen Mücken kann ja niemand etwas ...

We had a pleasant stay at the villa. Fiona and Giovanna were very prevenant with us. This part of Sicily is great to visit : we are between Syracuse and Catane and there is a lot to do. We were very happy of our holidays and recommend the house with pleasure. Aurore

wines and traditional charm, while holidaying in the
ease and comfort of a true Villa lifestyle.
