Enjoyed our stay and the setting was beautiful! The accommodations were clean and and exactly as presented on the website. Property manager was easy to work with and to reach. Would stay here again.
This was a great place for our family and we would return in the future. Manager was very helpful and responsive. Nearby easy family friendly hiking trails. I wish the cabin was a bit more remote from the other cabins.

Caitlin, I'm glad that you and your family enjoyed your stay at my cabin. So many great things to see and do in the Black Hills!
Our family was impressed with how spacious, clean and beautiful this house was! With 4 bedrooms that could sleep 12 people and 3 1/4 baths, everyone was very comfortable. Brenda responded quickly and answered all our questions. The kitchen had everything we needed (& more!) and is very organized. We completely enjoyed our stay!
Nice quiet cabin in the Woods the furniture is in great shape the grill is clean with plenty of propane. The property manager was easy to get a hold of and was responsive to all of our needs The kitchen is tidy and tons of space. The hot tub was ready and well cared for. The property manager was very responsive to all of our needs
We really enjoyed our stay at Stage Stop Cabin. It was a little peace of heaven and wonderful retreat to slow down after visiting the Black Hills Rally during the day. It is very peaceful and quiet on Gilded Mountain and wildlife is abundant (deer, turkeys, squirrels, birds) The house is in perfect condition, very spacious and is equipped with everything you need.
The only minor down point were the parking areas, which are not suitable for motorcycles.
According to the description it is not quite clear if the swimming pool is private (directly at the cabin) or at the clubhouse.
We are glad we chose this accommodation for our stay during the visit to the Black Hills and the Black Hills Motorcycle Rally.

We have been coming to the Black Hills for years staying at several cabins. This is the first time I would not recommend or return to a property. The basement was leaking water and I informed the owner. She said would have someone come take a look and no one ever showed even after I sent additional message. Obviously this has been going on as she knew exactly were spots were. All the chairs were broken, towel racks in bathrooms were broken, kitchen pot handles broken and decor was a hodpeg of whatever she could throw places. Theme- the place was a broken mess!

Dangie,
I am extremely sorry that you did not enjoy your stay at my property. Your experience appears to be much different from the vast majority of my guests as almost all of my reviews are 5 stars including the guests who stayed immediately after you.
As far as the minor water leak in the basement, my maintenance company came out promptly after you reported it. They determined there was a valve with a minor leak that they had to obtain parts to repair.
Other than that minor issue, you never reported any other issues during your stay or I would have done my best to address them immediately.
I will ensure the other items you noted above are reviewed and addressed as needed.

listing description was not accurate for trailer parking
PositiveCabin was clean Kitchen was well stocked plenty of bedding and towels Hot tub was clean and nice fireplacesNegativesThe TVs and internet didn't work for most of our stayTrailer parking was listed on the listing but is almost impossible to park a trailer at this cabin in the wintertimeIt takes a 4 wheeled drive to just get up the driveway in the wintertimeWe had to find a different place to park our trailer and pay for the parkingWe tried to use the clubhouse to watch tv since the one in the cabin didn't work but there were a dozen unsupervised kids running wild. We asked the host for a discount for the TVs and internet not working but she didn't respond back.We told the host we had a list of things that needed attention in the cabin, but she didn't ask for the list.We thought the list of things fixed would be nice for new guests.
Property was clean and tidy upon arrival, check in was smooth and easy, nice and quiet location and size of rooms and overall property was adequate for the number of people
Very comfortable house in a spacious development. Great location. In the middle of all the Black Hills sights. Grocery store a few miles away. Huge house, nicely stocked. Hot tub bonus.
If you can afford it, look no further.
The whole house is well taken care of. Host was extremely timely with all questions. Location is high in the mountains but still close to amenities. Hot tub and community pool was so much fun for the kids.
