'KC Sunshine' is a spacious 4 bedroom, 2 bath canal waterfront home in a lovely very quiet family neighborhood location. This home is very close to tons of shopping and dozens of restaurants of all kinds just 5 minutes away plus various attractions. Punta Gorda, with it's historic downtown and Fisherman's Village are just a 10 minute drive. Newer heat pump pool heater keeps the pool warm and comfy even on cloudy cool days year around and is included! Wanna go to the beach? Several of SW Florida's best beaches are just a short drive away!

Set up with the family in mind you will definitely be able to enjoy it all, as our house offers guests many wonderful amenities! Your own private pool and fishing dock are right in the backyard offering swimming fun in the pool, fantastic wildlife views and excellent fishing and crabbing right off the dock - and a place to dock your boat! The sparkling pool is heated and has a screen canopy.

4 Bedrooms. The new and fresh main master suite with king bed has it's own private bath, walk in closet and direct pool access.

There is a 65 inch Smart TV, a DVD player and a stereo system in the Great Room for your viewing and listening pleasure.

The main kitchen is a large open well equipped Chef's Kitchen with all newer appliances, giving the chef of the family a vacation from the ordinary kitchen. A perfect place to prepare meals for the entire family.

Bedding Includes : 1 King Bed, 2 Queen Beds all with new memory foam toppers for your comfort & 2 Twin beds in BR 4.

Additional Amenities: 4 Smart TVs (in 3 of the 4 bedrooms + in great room), DVD Player, Stereo/CD Player, High-Speed Wireless Internet, Well Equipped Chef's Kitchen, Dishwasher, Microwave, Washer/Dryer, Gas BBQ Grill, Open & Canopied Decks with Furniture, and Central Air/Heat. Enclosed garage. Newer impact hurricane windows and newer flooring.

Enclosed 1 car garage for small vehicles or motorcycles/bicycles to keep them safe and out of the weather. There are 2 beach cruiser bikes for guests' use also!

Full Linens with Bath Towels Provided.

Our Property Manager lives close by down the street and is always available should you need anything at all during your stay!

Beautiful cozy property, felt like home away from home! In quiet cozy neighborhood- minutes from grocery stores/ restaurants Had all the necessities, beautiful property, the best gathering space to see my sister in law. The kids played in the pool until the sun went down. This was an amazing trip that worked out great for my family.

Perfect Work/Play Location

The house was clean and spacious. We had plenty of room to do work and spend time with family. The pool and the dock were utilized and enjoyed. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Both the owners( Ken and Cindy) and the property manager(Donna) were helpful, responsive and friendly. Home away from home!

We booked to stay for Christmas as family lives just on the other side of the canal. The house was great, very spacious and has everything you need. Unfortunately it was a bit cool so the pool only got used once. Coffee on the dock and the deck every morning were a must! The wildlife was amazing, fish, birds unfortunately no manatees while we stayed. Neighbors were nice and the property manager checked in on us day one to make sure we had all we needed and to let us know she was just a few houses away should we need her. We will definitely look to book again!

Beautiful home

The house was exactly as its listed, very clean, plenty of room for everyone. Beautiful inside and out, right on the canal so we enjoyed some fishing in between our day trips around florida. The pool was an added bonus very clean and refressing after a long day in the sun.The owners responded quickly to any messages sent, they even sent us recommendations on places to eat and visit while in the area. They also helped us by recommending one of the neighbors for a fishing charter and we couldnt have asked for a better captain or charter. Overall I highly recommend staying here, we will stay here again soon hopefully. Many great memories made and an amazing house we called home for the week. Thank you

We traveled to Port Charlotte as a get-a-way for myself and our daughter, with her 11 and 12 year old boys. This home was very clean and the property was wonderful for our group! The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable! The pool was a huge hit with the boys! Also, the canal was wonderful to watch the local wildlife and the boys especially enjoyed fishing off of the dock. As we have family in nearby Punta Gorda, it was so nice to be able to have our Florida family over for dinner one evening and the kitchen was adequately stocked with all one would need to prepare meals. The property manager, Donna, was very helpful with any questions we had and is so nice! We would definitely stay here again!

Just fantastic

What a wonderful rental...from the lovely interior, waterfront location, down to the plates and coffee cups. Real attention to detail. The owners were so helpful. The home is beautifully decorated and maintained, inside and out. And very comfortable. There were only 2 of us, but would be very comfortable for a larger group with the 4 bedrooms. If you love boating & fishing like we do, this is a win-win with the large private dock on the canal behind the home with a short, pretty cruise to open water. Their neighbor caught a Goliath grouper while we were there in the canal! The private pool is such a nice treat at the end of a warm summer day. And so affordable! A+++ in our books, and I have stayed at many VRBO's around the world.

Home Away From Home

Our family has been using Vrbo to rent vacation homes for years! This is by far our favorite vacation home! We have a large family with kids ranging from 2 to 22. There was something for everyone to do here! It has a beautiful boat dock to dock your boat and fish off of. We even pulled in a few crabs from the dock! The kids enjoyed the pool and they even had pool floats, water blasters, goggles and pool towels! We enjoyed movie time in the evenings with movie theater seating and enough room for the whole family to come together. The kitchen was completely furnished with anything you would ever need to make a meal. They even had spices for people like me who always forget something! It seemed as though each small item I forgot at home they had there making vacation time a vacation instead of several trips back and forth to the store to get that one last thing. There are several beautiful beaches within a half hour drive and lots of great restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend this home if you are looking for a nice relaxing vacation with plenty of stuff to keep the family entertained!

We all enjoyed our stay. Caught several fish from the dock and the kids loved having the pool available. The furniture and beds were comfortable. I loved being able to see the kids, whether on the dock or in the pool, from the living area thru the sliding glass doors. December to remember

This was an easy experience to rent and stay... The hosts, property manager and neighbors were great. The home was comfortable and spotless. The pool was great, The dock was perfect to relax and catch a few fish. Theres a lot to do nearby. Riding the provided bikes to Port Charlotte Beach is nice if you want a little easy beach time. Would absolutely rent again!

We had had flight deals getting to Florida and also on return flight home and they were extremely accommodating. The home was absolutely beautiful and well cared for. We enjoyed our stay at your house and would definitely stay again. The only thing I would recommend changing is the showerheads. I am a shorter person and the showerheads are to high to get the pressure to rinse my hair (maybe a handheld would work better).

We have been visiting the Punta Gorda/Port Charlotte area for many years prior to owning and find it a wonderful balance of convenience, nature and fun 'touristy' things to do, yet very quiet and not overcrowded!

Why they chose this property

Location location location! The wonderfully quiet family neighborhood attracted us as did the beautiful canal front setting. Once inside, the house is even more spacious than it appears and the many updates make it a great, clean and comfy house.

What makes this property unique

4 bedrooms offers added room and privacy for your group. The saltwater canal right in the backyard offers great views, fishing and wildlife. While in a quiet family neighborhood, the house is just 5 minutes from the main shopping/dining areas of Port Charlotte with many restaurants and stores to choose from.
