Cozy elegant historic house, air conditioned, in excellent location near Rialto
Bright large cosy flat of 100 m^2, with an amazing view on a charming Venetian campo dominated by a gigantic tree. The flat is located in an excellent position to visit the city, it is 5 minutes away from Rialto bridge and 10 minutes away from San Marco square, but it is also perfect if you want to experience the real Venetian life and stay out of the main turistic routes. The famous Rialto Market is close by and it's possible to reach it by cross the Grand Canal with the Gondola for just 2,50 euros each.
This lovely and comfortable apartment is on 2nd floor in a quiet house of three flats. It has two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the otherone with two single beds. In the cozy living room (about 30 m^2 with three large windows) the sofa is convertible into another double bed and the couch into a single bed. Air conditioned available. The kitchen is provided with all the needed furniture to cook and the living room has a large table where to eat. The house has two bathrooms, and one shower. It sites in an amazing central area just few steps from amenities and at the same time away the tourism crowd. In the district you'll find restaurants, bàccari (local bars serving wine and traditional food for aperitif), shops, and a supermarket. You can sit outdoor at a coffe shop for a coffee and kipfel in the morning or a spritz and tramezzino during the evening.
The flat is easy to access and we will pick you up at the boat stop! if you arrive from the airport by boat, we meet you at boat stop Fondamenta Nuove. If you get Venice by train or bus terminal there is a direct boat line, and we'll meet at boat stop Ca’ D’Oro long Grand Canal.
Nice décor with ancient furniture, books in different languages for guests readings. Comfortable it's a perfect stay for a short or long stay, for traveling for work or for a family visiting the city. Guests use to become habitué.

I like architecture, arts and cities. I travel a lot and I like learning by different cultures and meeting new people. I love this bright charming apartment and its special site within the historic Venice. I like regional food and market places to know about seasonal local food.
I love having a spritz Campari (no Aperol please!) at 7 pm in the district relaxing with people living in the area. Once I met a Spanish couple there. After days spent in crowdy areas, out of the blue they had found the 'real' Venice! .

Why they chose this property
I was used to leave in this family flat before moving away and I just love it! All the family and friends love it because its warm atmosphere with family furnitures, art, photo, architecture, travel books and novels. I'll provide you confortable beds with new fine sheets and full sets of white tovels including shower towels. Beaches towels are also available.
What makes this property unique
The entrance is in the street "Calle del traghetto" but the flat faces the square Campo della Cason. So it's so bright! The location also is fantastic. It's so uniquely placed within the historical core of the city near Rialto! You can't be lost and you can easily access all beautifil sites of Venice. It should be noted that in Venice a convenient location is very important. Here you can just walk to get home from all relevant sites as San Marco square, Rialto bridge/market, Ghetto, or you can take a boat along the Gran Canal. All relevant places to visit are walking distance and public boats are very close!
