Cabin and surrounding property were clean. Kitchen well stocked with plates, utensils, cups, pans, heat plate, microwave, small fridge, and toaster oven. AC worked well along with ceiling fans inside and outside on the front porch. Bed very comfortable and bathroom was clean and had essentials like towels, soap, shampoo, etc. Quiet and private. Been there 5 times if that means anything.
Host was very welcoming. Valentine chocolates, fresh flowers and Champagne were waiting when we arrived. The pond was stocked with fish and we caught several! The cabin had a kitchen that was fully stocked with kitchen and dining ware. The bed was very comfortable and the host provided many books to choose from to read.
The scenery and the cabin was wonderful. Having a get-away like this place is great. Just being able to enjoy the property was therapeutic. We plan to be back in the future.
If you're looking to get out and enjoy the country this is a great spot. Very clean cabin in a beautiful and quiet setting. We took advantage of the stocked pond for some great fishing. There's also plenty of swimming holes nearby. We really enjoyed our weekend here.
Beautiful property. My only complaint was the mattress shook with any movement and the ac with loud when kicking on. The property was quite, and peaceful, close to the river if you wanted to swim.

This little bungalow was built by craftsmen and outfitted by caring. Everything you need is provided for a short getaway in the Hill Country, Although I didn't meet the owners they are obviously folks that take pride in what they have.
Great place to getaway and relax. It was quiet, of the main road and the property and cabin were well maintained. Water level in the lake was good, and it was fun to watch the night come to life under the stars. We saw plenty of deer and even an armadillo came strolling by the porch on its way down to the lake to get some water. Good spot and would go back.
It was an amazing place. We had a blast. Very relaxing and peaceful! Thank y’all for sharing your place with us will definitely be making a trip back! We loved being able to make a fire and enjoy sitting around the pond!
