This spacious home is located on beautiful Lake Hartwell in Lavonia, GA. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat with fun in the sun this is the place for you. It is on Gumlog Creek just above the Tugaloo River main channel with deep water and open space for boating and skiing. This home comes complete with a 2 slip boat dock and a large swim platform. Bring your boat or rent one and chill in the sun of this spacious dock. There’s a paved pathway from the home to the dock and plenty of room to park several cars plus ample space for a boat trailer.
The three story home features floor to ceiling windows in the living and dining areas overlooking the lake. The spacious family area has plenty of room for the family to gather complete with a 52" flat screen TV. Off the living area is a deck where you can rock your troubles away. The inside dining area has a large 14-person table with a great view of the lake and an additional 6 person table for the kids or kids at heart. The kitchen is fully equipped with a 5 burner stove and double ovens for the person who loves to cook. There’s also a outdoor Blackstone propane grill for all your grilling needs.
This spacious lake front home easily sleeps 17 with the master bedroom located on the main floor with a king size bed and a 32" flat screen TV. The master bathroom has a double sink, jetted tub and separate shower. The additional 3 bedrooms are located upstairs. On the left you will find a bedroom with a king and twin beds and a private bath. On the right are two bedrooms, one has a queen size and a toddler bed and the other has two full size beds. These two bedrooms share a bathroom. There are additional sleeping spaces in the basement with two full size beds and a queen sleeper sofa. Our home is perfect for a large family or group. The fourth bathroom is located on the basement level which works great for the basement guests and lake traffic.
In addition, there's a ping pong table, air hockey table and 32" TV for your enjoyment. In the backyard there's a fire pit for chilly nights or making s’mores.
This home is in an excellent location being only 4 miles from Interstate 85 and approximately 3 miles from Tugaloo State Park. Our home is approxmately 1/2 mile from Franklin County Boat Ramp and 1 mile from Harbor Light Marina for fueling boats. The marina also has boat and jet ski rentals. The area is convenient to many restaurants including the famous “Gumlog Barbecue and Fish Lodge” and has ample opportunities for shopping and entertainment. The home is approximately 1 hour north of the Atlanta metro area and 30 minutes south of Anderson, SC. There is a Tanger Outlet Mall in Commerce, GA approximately 30 minutes south from the home. Perfect location for UGA (50 min) and Clemson (30 min) football games.
All linens are provided, ample supply of towels, toilet tissue and paper towels. The kitchen is stocked with spices, plenty of pots and pans and most any gadget you might need. Full sized washer and dryer with all the laundry essentials. We have a pack-n-play and highchair for the little ones available upon request.
You are welcome to bring the children, but pets are not allowed. There are no exceptions to the no pet's rule so please do not ask. This is also a non-smoking home and smoking and vaping are not allowed inside.
