This is a semi-detached stone cottage located in the hamlet of Keisley, near Dufton in Cumbria and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.
Rum Bush Cottage is a semi-detached stone cottage located in the hamlet of Keisley near Dufton in Cumbria, and can sleep four people in two bedrooms, a double and a twin. The cottage provides upside down accommodation with the bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove on the first floor. Outside there is a raised decked area with hot tub and furniture and an enclosed lawned garden. The cottage also offers off road parking for two cars. With many lovely walks, picturesque villages and towns nearby, makes Rum Bush Cottage a wonderful base.
Amenities: Oil central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD. Super Sonic Wi-Fi available. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Raised balcony with decking, furniture and hot tub, enclosed lawned garden. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 miles. Note: Property is on a working livestock farm. Note: There are two steps to front door. Note: Due to the raised balcony, children should be supervised at all times.

Just three miles away is Appleby-in-Westmorland, one of the loveliest towns in the north of England. The town is situated in the heart of the delightful Eden Valley and has many shops and is one of the main stops for the Settle-to-Carlisle Railway. The Appleby-in-Westmorland Jazz festival that takes place in July is a popular attraction. Walkers should head to Dufton Fell and the Pennine Way to take in the breathtaking scenery plus with the village of Pooley Bridge and the town of Penrith close by, this makes Dufton an ideal base.
