The rooms of Catia, maison de charme

Inaugurated in 2017, the rooms of Catia, is a design apartment on the 4th floor with lift of a historic building in front of the Santa Maria Novella station. In the city center, a few steps from the monuments and shopping streets, finely renovated and equipped with all comforts, can accommodate up to six people. In addition to the living area, there are two comfortable double rooms and a single plus a sofa bad, two bathrooms with shower one of which is inside a room, TV and air conditioning in all rooms. Entering the apartment, you face the living area, equipped with a comfortable sofa for reading or watching TV on the wall that also satisfies the customer who prefers to sit in the dining area. The open-plan kitchen on the dining area with adjoining a small terrace is equipped with a kitchenette, oven and Nespresso coffee machine (breakfast capsules are provided).
A bright corridor introduces the sleeping area, where there is a first independent bathroom with shower, a very large double room with private bathroom and shower, a single room that allows access to the last double room where there is a sofa bad used in the same room or to be included in the single room. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, wi-fi and wall-mounted TV.

Guest access

It is also possible to have access to a terrace, located in front of the entrance of the apartment where you can admire Santa Maria Novella and the square in front of the railway station from above.

A ride around

The central location of the apartment makes it convenient for those arriving by train or even for those who, arriving by car, can leave it in the multi-storey car park, below the station. Next to the entrance door is the Mac cafe ', open 24 hours a day. A few meters from the station of S. Maria Novella and about 500 meters from the Fortezza da Basso (home of the fairs in the city). The Medici Chapels and the Church of San Lorenzo with the characteristic market, are literally around the corner (about 100 m), the Duomo is 400 and from here just a short walk to get to Piazza della Signoria and reach Ponte Vecchio. Near the hotel there is a supermarket, countless restaurants and pizzerias, where you can taste the delicacies of typical Florentine cuisine, bookshops, internet point as well as night clubs and discos for your entertainment. In addition to the convenience of the railway line from here the shuttle to the airport and the extra-urban lines for trips outside Florence or to reach the famous outlets.
It is also possible to rent electric cars at the station.

Other things to highlight

Despite the proximity to the train station, the apartment is really very quiet as it overlooks the back of the building.
