Huge 8BR/5 Bath Family Home near Keystone--10 beds + 3 queen sofas in 11 rooms

We're pleased to see that the guest enjoyed the home. Only a tiny fraction of Summit County homes have air conditioning, given the generally mild summer temperature AVERAGES: Month Average High June 69° July 75° August 72° This rental week in July did set a record high (87), but that is by definition a rare occurrence. And since the home has overhead fans in virtually every room (plus portable box fans) and windows on all 4 sides, it lends itself easily to cross-ventilation. By evening the temperature falls into the 40's, relieving the need for cooling.

As we stated in another reply, a previous guest tried to move the house's pool table and managed to damage two of the legs, which were beyond repair. The table weighs about 1000 lbs., so it had to be removed for safety reasons. A brand NEW table was installed on 9/2/22, but only after this group had departed. We realize they had looked forward to using this amenity and did issue them a refund. Although the house was without a pool table only for about a week, that included the ENTIRE length of this group's 3 night stay. (Their party included about 10 kids, so it made a huge difference.) We very much regret that they were the victim of circumstances, and sincerely apologize for their disappointment. As reassurance to future guests, these events were effectively beyond our control and happen rarely (the old table had been there for over a decade).
