Family friendly, cozy cottage, in midst of Cayuga, Seneca Wine Trails.

Go no further to enjoy the fall foliage - great views from the porch or dining room - colorful hard woods on both sides of Cayuga Lake. If you like to fish, come in April to fish for Rainbows and land locked Salmon, June is typically great for Lakers. Dock and boat lift are available, ready to go for that early morning cast off. Please notify owner if you anticipate using.

Very clean, ranch style cottage, completely winterized, at the lake level with no steps. Drive to the cottage on paved road, well maintained by the town. Park right next to the cottage. On the west side of Cayuga Lake with spectacular sunrises if you are an early riser.

Located midway up the lake on the west side, 18 miles N of Ithaca. 4 bedrooms, 1 with a queen sized bed, 2 have double beds and 1 has 2 single beds. Reading lights near all beds. Maximum 8 persons. Central AC installed 2022. Large well equipped updated kitchen , big dining room overlooking the lake, large stone fireplace in living room, nice yards, porch with chairs and table for eating, gas grill, historic gazebo next to the lake with 2 historic swings, as well as a large dock with a nice beach for swimming. At night, very little light pollution to view the stars, constellations, satellites, Space station, shooting stars, etc. Quiet residential neighborhood - no large gatherings permitted.

Basic start ups with toilet paper, soaps and paper towels will be provided. Renter responsible for any additional as needed.

A 5000 pound boat lift is available for renter's use upon notifying owner.

We really enjoyed our stay ! This was our second stay here and I hope we have many more ! The house was in good shape and we loved our location ! We missed seeing the owners next door as they were on vacation but it was very pleasant texting and talking to Maxine ! I highly recommend this cottage in Cayuga Lake !

A Lovely Quiet Weekend

We had a lovely time at the quiet lakehouse. Enjoyed the swings overlooking the lake, birdwatching in the yard, and with its close proximity to both Watkins Glen and Ithaca, made this house the perfect spot for us to gather as friends! The hosts were kind and helpful; the house was clean and had a well-stocked kitchen. We hope to come back again! Highly recommend staying here!!

The house and the property was awesome! Very clean and perfect amount of space. The owner's Maxine and Paul were friendly, accommodating and very pleasant!!! All of us enjoyed our stay very much. Lovely Lakefront Cabin

The cabin was the perfect home-base for a weekend in the Fingerlakes, stocked with everything you would need for a leisurely sojourn. Watching the sunrise over the lake on the dock was sublime. Location wise, it is ideally located near the cideries and wineries of Cayuga, with but a quick drive to those around Senenca Lake.

Relaxing and wonderful

Our family enjoyed the easy access to swimming and the sound of the waves just outside our door. The cottage had all we needed and plenty of space for everyone to have privacy. The furnishings were comfortable and we would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Thanks Maxine and Paul for being great hosts.

Annual Fishing Trip

The house and the hosts were excellent. We had some minor problems with the boat lifts which our hosts fixed promptly. They generously let us use the lifts which ensured our boats were protected from some strong winds and waves during our stay. Thanks Maxine and Paul.

Excellent experience

I highly recommend renting this house. We had a great experience. The hosts were quick to get back to me when I was booking the house. Once we arrived, they were very helpful with directing us to the boat launch and near by wineries. The house was clean and well stocked. Overall a great trip.

Great location, great owners, great time!

I can't imagine having a better experience. The house was in a beautiful location on Cayuga Lake, near many wineries and waterfalls. It was well stocked for those electing to eat there with a nice grocery store nearby or also close to restaurants for those not interested in cooking. The owners were super friendly and helpful. Lakeside Oasis!

We so enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lakefront cottage on Cayuga lake. It was a perfect place for my family to get together for our extended weekend. The pictures online don’t do it justice. It was so clean, well maintained and much bigger than it looks. We all appreciated the closeness of the lakefront whether it was enjoying the views from the boathouse swings, fishing off the docks or swimming in the shallows. Lots of windows inside to see the view as well. Maxine and Paul were great hosts and very helpful and accessible with any questions that we had.

Beautiful setting! Happy Memories!

Very close to Ithaca College and in wine country, my daughter and friends selected this house for a birthday week on the lake. It was perfect. Dock fishing, singing around the campfire, and cookouts were just what this happy group of millennials wanted. Gracious hosts the Flaggs addressed all pre check in questions quickly and were available during the week too. It's a beautiful spot to rest and relax yet close to other activities. Thankful for a happy week. Hope to be back sometime!

Wonderful, welcoming, and convenient

Up for a college graduation weekend, this was a great way to have multiple generations of family staying together. We were sad our time in the cottage and being lakeside was so limited, but were so glad to have a welcoming and relaxing place we could all spend time together. Paul and Maxine were understanding of all our comings and goings and checked in on us to make sure we were set for the weekend. The cottage was extremely clean and orderly as well. Location was great as we could visit a vineyard and gorges and it was a straight shot down to Ithaca. Thanks so much for having us!

Beautiful lakeside property

The house isn’t fancy, but very clean and spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our family of 5 and two dogs. We especially appreciated the updated kitchen and dining area overlooking the lake. The property location was ideal. It was close enough to Ithaca so we could attend our daughter’s graduation with relative ease, and right in the heart of the Cayuga Wine Trail. And did I mention the lake? It was too early in the season to swim, but we spent most of our time at the house lounging outdoors and enjoying the peaceful beauty of Lake Cayuga. Maxine and Paul were perfect hosts - Very friendly and accommodating. We feel truly blessed to have found this property.

This place was perfect.

This property was wonderful for our extended weekend. We came to the Ithaca area for our daughter's college graduation and to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings. The house was truly perfect and exactly as described, with all the amenities of home. Everyone loved being on the lake and the kayaking was magnificent. We were sad to leave because now we really understand why everyone says, "Ithaca is Gorges!" And this place is the perfect space to enjoy it all. Thanks to Maxine and Paul!

Listing doesn't do it justice!!!

Family of four, stayed at the property in the beginning of July. The property was excellent. Smaller cottage, on a large estate, with owners living next door. You have access to lakefront, two great docks and the floating dock. The hosts had kayaks, and paddle boards, for the guest s to use. There's also a place to have a campfire if you choose to. The house was spotless. The biggest advantage to this place was private lakefront access steps outside your door. Would definitely come and stay again.

Amazing location, more amazing hosts!

Maxine and Paul were absolutely amazing from start to finish; from the moment we inquired to the moment we departed (and left behind some sandles), they were extremely accommodating, approachable and friendly to match.
