2 bedroom, 2 bath condo overlooking the Atlantic Ocean at Atlantic Beach’s premier private and gated resort vacation spot. Huge outdoor pool with water slide and heated indoor pool offer year round fun. Or, when you’re not surfing on the private, fantastic beach, you can enjoy basketball, tennis, miniature golf, shuffle board, huge children play area plus much, much more.

In the condo you’ll enjoy a bright, updated kitchen with lots of cabinets and granite counter top. The extra 'den' has been converted to a 2nd bedroom with double bed. Sleeper sofa in the living room. Queen sized double bed in the master bedroom. Ocean front view from the private balcony. Unit L-236 is a second floor condo a few doors down from the elevator.

HDTV with DVR and DVD that are HDMI capable for your PS4 or 5, Xbox, or PC. Coin laundry available on the lower floor. Elevator. Resort forbids all pets. No smoking please.

We supply all linens, pots and pans, dishes, etc.

Kid Friendly Family Vacation Spot!

Great little condo resport with lots to do. Easy walk to the beach, great pools and outdoor recreations. Definitely recommend adults be in shape and ready to walk. Once you brave the hot hallways and get everything up and settled in you'll have a blast and not want to leave!

We had a wonderful week at this property. Maintenance came to check on us to make sure we were satisfied. I did not give 5 stars because the beds were squeaky and were a bit sagging.

Wifi was spotty and had to keep signing in over and over. Bed listing and pictures were confusing. 2 bed rooms 1 bed each full size. One pull out couch ok for kids. Very clean and easy check in just what we needed, brought an extra camping cot for one child and we're glad we had it!

Family get away!!

We love the location of The place at the beach and all it had to offer. The condo was a little small but it was nice. We did have to go and buy an air mattress because the pull out couch was broken and it was warm it the front part of the condo and back part was freezing. But we still enjoyed the stay.

The size of any room is a subjective measure so all I can say about it is this is the first complaint about room size in 20 years. If the quest says the second bedroom was small, then it was; for her. As for the pool, I just now contacted the resort and they report the pool was open every day last week; both the indoor and outdoor pools. Perhaps the quest arrived prior to the daily opening of 9 AM for the indoor and 10 AM for the outdoor pool. Of course the ocean is always open.

Yearly Getaway

We had a great time staying at this unit. It looked exactly how it was explained in the description. The television in the bedrooms wouldn’t work and the fridge had old food in it when we arrived, but we threw it all away. We really enjoyed the pool and tennis courts to play pickleball. We had a startling surprise when the cleaning crew broke into our unit well before check out time while we were sleeping and scared us half to death. Overall, we had a fun week.

Small place

People above overflowed tub /water dripping down for three days . Very loud footsteps above . Vehicle was hit in parking lot and security said they didn’t have enough time to look at surveillance footage. Not a very private place to stay . No dishwasher was a downer .

Unfortunately what this guest reported was true. The renters in the condo unit above had a bad leak in their tub drain. This caused the water to leak down through the ceiling into our master bath. As our guest reported it was a drip, drip for a few days. Very annoying we’re sure, but nothing we had control over. We waited until change over to assess and fix the minor damage to the ceiling dry wall. Btw, in North Carolina the unit above that caused all the issues isn’t responsible to fix a thing. Go figure

Second stay and loved property

Jack has good communication and let us know when our room was ready early! We love this unit and the property. We played mini golf, ping pong, outdoor bowling and truly enjoyed both pools the entire vacation. We home school and love how close Fort Macon is for a field trip. We are a family of three and it was perfect for us.

APATB Atlantic Beach

We had a fun family gathering at the resort. Each family group had their own condo unit and this gave us a look at others in our price range. By comparison the condo we rented was subpar in terms of appearance, state of repairs and kitchen utensils.

This is the family resort you've been looking for. So much to do and enjoy and then back home to the condo to rest up for the next day. We raised our 3 boys there and continue to use it ourselves in the Fall and Spring. The resort is extremely well maintained year round. For families with children this is an ideal spot. You and the kids will enjoy the 9 hole miniature golf course, basketball, tennis, and water slide. If the weather is bad or the surf too rough, there is the heated indoor pool and 8 person spa. Like to cook out? Visit the many modern BBQ grills. And finally, the resort is private with full, around the clock, on site security.

Why they chose this property

We have the condo professionally cleaned and detailed between each quest. This includes professional, hotel quality linens. There is a full kitchen with dishes, pots and pans, and table ware. We have owned this unit since 1985 and have come back each year. Our 3 boys grew up here. We have extensively remodeled the unit for your family fun.

What makes this property unique

This is a very unique spot. It's not touristy and congested like say Myrtle Beach, yet you don't miss out on the amenities. This resort has the only water slide for miles. Free tennis, basketball, miniature golf, bbq grills, and hot tubs. Need a water board, basketball, tennis racket, putting iron? Just borrow one from the activity center.
