About this property

Cozy Cottage by the Beach...Steps to the Sand

Location Location Location! This cozy lower level DUPLEX is just a short block from the sand in one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Southern California. We are just 8 houses from the beach at 127 41st Street on the beach side of Balboa! We are on the corner of Balboa and 41st Street and just blocks from the Newport Pier, Pavillions grocery store, all the fine dining restaurants, and the basketball courts.
The home has a great private patio in the front for entertaining or just enjoying the sun. The family room has high ceilings with a ceiling fan, a gas fireplace, bright windows which make it great place to relax after a hard day at the beach or Disneyland. The kitchen is fully stocked and all floors are tile & wood.
The Master Bedroom has one Queen bed and the second bedroom has one twin bed and bunk beds. There is a two-car garage with one spot in the garage and one in the rear. The complimentary, shared washer & dryer are inside the garage.
By staying at our place you can enjoy the many activities that the Newport Beach Peninsula has to offer. You can enjoy surfing, boogie boarding, sailing, power boat rentals, Catalina Island cruises, Whale watching tours, parasailing, fun zone rides and arcade, and the World Famous 'Wedge' where some of the biggest body surfing waves in the world can be found.
Other attractions within a short drive are Disneyland and California Adventure Park, Hollywood, Universal Studios, Knott's Berry Farm, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Long Beach Aquarium, Queen Mary, Spruce Goose, and many more. And ladies don't forget to visit South Coast Plaza and Fashion Island for the fabulous shopping!

We enjoyed our stay here in Newport. The house was perfect for our needs and the owners were very accommodating. It’s so nice that it is pet friendly and they don’t charge a bunch of fees to bring your pets. This place offers a great location close to the beach. I would Definitely recommend booking this cute cottage.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy beach cottage! The location was fantastic—just a short walk to the beach, making it incredibly easy to enjoy the sand, water, and everything the area has to offer. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.The hosts were excellent communicators and made the entire experience smooth from start to finish. They provided clear instructions for check-in, parking, and the house itself, which made arrival and settling in very easy.Overall, it was a great experience and exactly what we were hoping for. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place close to the beach in Newport.

Close to the beach, quick walk just a block down the road. The main road didn’t bother us at all noise wise. Cute little place just as the pictures show. The garage is great, so nice to have a place to park since when we were there it was very hard to find a street spot. No issues. Had a wonderful time.

For us Newport Beach is home. We had our first date at Charlie's Chili on the Newport Beach Pier. I grew up in Mission Viejo, so Newport was my backyard on the weekends. I loved coming down here and riding bikes and staying on the beach to finish off our day with a beautiful sunset. After college in San Francisco, I moved back, and made Newport my home.
My husband, Mark, originally from Scotland, moved to Newport from Chicago in 2004, after we dated long distance for 4 years! Needless to say he fell in love with Newport in a heart beat. The rental was our first home. We lived upstairs while renting the downstairs and later moved to a lovely neighborhood right around the corner.
We now love hosting and meeting the families that come and stay at our lovely place
