Newly Renovated Bungalow Close to the Bay and the Boardwalk (NOT FOR SENIOR WK)

Located in the center of Ocean City, this beautiful bungalow is one block from the bay and six blocks from the boardwalk and beach with three off street parking spaces.
From our house, on the corner of 14th and Simpson, you can walk to everything - the bay, the beach, the boardwalk, restaurants, surf shops, gift shops, and plenty more. Our house is conveniently located for experiencing A Night in Venice in July and the sunset on the bay throughout the summer.
If you stay in, enjoy our free WIFI, comfy sunroom, and outdoor grill.

During the Summer Season our rentals are from Saturday at 2pm to Saturday at 10am.
Guests need to pack their own linens, towels, and expendables. Blankets, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy home are provided.

I grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia and have resided in Philadelphia since 2003. I am a cooking instructor and community chef. I love nothing more than to host meals and gatherings at our shore home. I hope you will enjoy sharing it with those close to you as well.

Why they chose this property

Ever since I was a kid, I have enjoyed going down the shore to Ocean City. My parents never owned a house in OCNJ, but my godmother did. When I was younger, we would stay with her for one week each summer. When I became a teenager, my father purchased this house. Ever since, we have shared it with friends and family throughout the year. Sadly, my dad passed away in 2005 and left the house to me. Ever since, I have rented it during the season and shared it with friends and family during the off season. I have rented through Vacation Rentals since 2011. In 2012, the home was hit by Hurricane Sandy. I spent a year and a half elevating and renovating the home. After putting in much TLC and brand new EVERYTHING, I was once again able to rent the home starting in the summer of 2014. I am excited to share our sunny beach-themed home with you. I hope you will enjoy Ocean City as much as I always have.

What makes this property unique

I love our home's natural light and close proximity to sunsets over the bay (see the picture). In the morning, you can read the paper in the sunroom or watch people ride by on their bicycles. Our house is conveniently located far enough away from the boardwalk to be quiet and close enough to be able to enjoy it throughout the day.
