Lakefront Lake Of Egypt Sleeps 8 w/Dock/two kayaks and on 1 LEVEL!

Come explore what Southern Illinois has to offer for your next family getaway! The "GUESTHOUSE AT THE LAKE" has it all! 3 bedrooms with 4 queen beds, 1.5 baths, Beautiful Sunroom (no screens), Dock with electricity, Beautiful Lake Views, Fire Pit, Wifi, Outdoor Grill, Carport, Washer/Dryer, Flat Screen TV's/DVD player, Direct Tv including the Sports Package, Fully stocked (just bring food and toiletries), recently renovated, includes use of two Kayaks with paddles (please bring your own Life Vests). The house is on one level with only 1 step to get into the home. The land is flat to the lake with no steps down to the dock!!!!!

We have dedicated internet for each of our guest homes!!!! 6 mbps down and 1 mbps up and also a second line that is shared between our 3 homes that is an additional 6 mbps down and 1 mbps up!!!

We also rent the house directly next door which has 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and sleeps 8 also (vrbo 1185578)!!! And we have another home just down the street with 4 bedrooms and 2 baths (vrbo 9134691ha)! Ask about renting multiple homes for a discount!!!! All of our homes are located at the mid point of the lake). See the attached photo showing the location of all our rental homes at the lake.

Boat rentals are available around the lake. Check out https://lakeofegyptpontoonrentals.com and tell them Roman sent you!!!

Macks Marina and Egyptian Hills Marina also have boat rentals and you can launch your boat from both of them and also Pyramid Acres for a small fee.

We do provide two kayaks and two paddleboards for each home. Please bring your own life vests as we do not provide those.

No pets allowed.

We do require a $100 Damage Deposit. This will be returned to you immediately upon our cleaning team reporting no damage, no excess cleaning, and no excess trash.

The property is located and maintained well. I have been staying in this owner's properties for 5 yrs, twice a yr. All work well for families and fishing buddies.

Vacation

The location was beautiful, with excellent sunset views and a private dock. If it had been just me and the boys fishing it would have been excellent. This was a fishing and sight seeing trip with my wife. She didn't feel secure with no locks to the back doors only a bar for the patio door. The drains for the sink and shower were slow and the layout was weird with having to go through one bedroom to get to the other.

Best view on the lake

This was our second stay at the lake house and it felt like coming home. The house is open with plenty of room to relax and take in the beautiful sunsets over the lake. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. Bedrooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. The walk to the boat dock is nice and flat, not on a hill which is great when loading the boat for a day on the lake. We will definitely be returning.

Great Communication and Location

We arrived at lake earlier than check-in which was absolutely no problem. After launching our boat we were able to park at house with the understanding that we could not enter until after 3 or the cleaners were finished. This was definitely not an issue since we didn't get off the lake until 7 p.m. or so. The kitchen could not have been better. We grilled, used the cook top and microwave--just like being at home. Would definitely stay again.

Lake Trip

Great location, great A/C, great kitchen and ample parking. The walk through bedroom smelled musty and like sewage at times, grill was very dirty and unusable, need some new fluffy towels, providing outdoor chairs would be nice. We called the phone number on the paper for internet help. The woman was very kind and helped me but told me she no longer works for the company so the information sheet needs to be updated. We would stay again

For the price, it was a great stay. Plenty of space and a nice living room, kitchen setup.House smells a little musty, I think it’s coming from the porch. I would suggest the property management schedule a deep spring cleaning.

Family reunion

This was the 5th time we have stayed at this rental so we knew what to expect. Unfortunately it was far off from what we are use to. It was not clean, there were spiders and rodents, the maintenance crew had to come out because we had multiple issues. We will not be staying here again.

This is Gerald Randles. A couple of issues with our VRBO rental. New light bulbs are needed in the two bedroom lamps because we had to use them to replace the bulbs in the master bedroom ceiling. The grill needs to be cleaned; it's unusable in the current condition. Replace microwave surface/night light. The sink in the hall bathroom drains very slowly. A fish cleaning station would be nice.

Nice little home for the money

For the money, the house is a good value. It is not nearly as nice as others we have rented in the area, but it was about half the price. The bedroom setup is a bit funky, but workable. I would not rent this house with if you have more than 4 people - 1 bathroom makes it difficult. If I am going to nitpick, the house should have a simple toaster a tea kettle and a full size frying pan....like I said,overall the home was a good value, but these simple additions would have made our stay better.

Long weekend

The house was perfect for my husband and I. Great sunsets from the porch or dock. Everything was spotless. Communication was always quick and helpful. We will definitely book again, really enjoyed the location and home. The only thing a little odd is you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other 3rd bedroom. Not a problem for us but others might be uncomfortable with this.
