The House

1925 beautiful remodeled cottage filled with historic charm, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds that sleep up to 8 adults. Each bedroom has its own smart tv. Free WIFI

The Location

South of Southtown; located 1/2 mile from Mission Concepcion and 350 feet from the newly built Confluence Park Pavilion and its entertainment facilities overlooking the convergence of the San Antonio River.

The Hike & Bike Trail along the San Antonio River connects all five missions in San Antonio: The Alamo, Mission Concepcion, Mission San Jose, Mission San Juan, and Mission Espada. Each mission is about 2.5 miles from the next. Bike rentals are available at Confluence Park; so you can bike, walk or drive to Lone Star, King William, Downtown, Pearl Brewery, San Antonio River and the Historic San Antonio Missions.

Easy access to US-90 allows for a short drive to other popular sites such as the Henry B Gonzalez Convention Center (2.5mi), Alamodome (2.9mi), Pearl Brewery
(6.2mi), AT&T Center (7.2 mi), Lackland Air Force (9.7mi ), and Sea World (15 mi).

Historic Detail
The Battle of Concepcion fought on October 28, 1835, “the first major engagement of the Texas Revolution”, occurred on the grounds of mission Concepcion. Two major figures from the war, Jim Bowie and James Fanning.

Efficient use of space

You can tell the property has gotten a lot of improvements inside and some on the outside. Everything inside worked well. The grill needs seriously cleaning and the patio chairs on deck are not usable. Not the property owner fault but stray dogs in area are annoyingly loud at night so sleeping was a challenge. Bring noise machine or ear buds / plugs for sleep. Appreciated quick access to expressway and missions though was worried by area initially as a lot of places are in rough shape. Didn't feel unsafe though walking to nearby park.

Enjoyed our stay

We needed a place close to Lackland AFB and close to the Riverwalk. This house worked out great for our family.

Lovely little house!

This home was perfect for the three of us (me, my mom and my sister). Three bedrooms and two bathrooms made getting ready in the morning a lot easier than having to share one bathroom like you would in a hotel! The home was clean, had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. We took a Lyft everywhere and it worked out perfect. We very much enjoyed ourselves and the home. Thank you so much for sharing with us!

Convenient Location; Transitional Neighborhood

Very clean; a bit noisy w/street traffic, train, dog next door, but manageable. Difficulty getting a coffeemaker that worked, but effort was made. Birds occupied the front porch upon arrival and made it disgusting, but this was remedied quickly by mgr. Location was convenient to all we wanted to see/do in SA. I might think twice before staying here again, but maybe.

Great Stay in San Antonio

Really enjoyed our stay at the house. We had plenty of room for the four of us. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
