House and location was great and we enjoyed our stay while there for the App State Family Weekend. House was clean and really enjoyed the view from the front porch.

I appreciated the beautiful porch views especially from the comfort of the hot tub! I also appreciated having use of the washer and dryer, and the overall location central to several cute North Carolinian towns.

We met our kids and grand for a week away. We enjoyed the parks in the area and the ability to have a house to ourselves to cook.

The house was super cozy and lots of space for 2 families to spread out and relax. The surrounding area was beautiful and we took some nice walks despite the cold. Downtown Blowing Rock is nearby and so fun to visit the shops.
This house was perfect for a short trip to Boone. It's so tucked away into the mountains yet still only ten minutes to Boone. The house had everything we needed and then some. Beautiful location and absolutely gorgeous home.

Exceeded Expectations
We stayed 3 nights. The location is close to town but is tucked away. They had everything we could need and the hot tub was great. Everything was as described and had a very thorough house book that had recommendations for activities, hikes and restaurants. Our best VRBO/Evolve rental yet!
We had a wonderful impromptu 2 day getaway to the mountains and the cabin couldn't have been more perfect! It had everything we needed. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets on the porch while listening to the sounds of nature! Thank you !!

Great Mountain Rental
Great mountain house with an awesome view! House was well stocked in the kitchen. They had many blankets would made the cabin feel cozy and at home. Everything was very clean and orderly. Agree with prior reviews and the rental agreement that you have to have a 4WD to get to the house in the winter. Mattresses were also a huge plus! Overall, great house and wonderful experience!

Wonderful mountain retreat!
My family truly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. There was plenty of space for all of us. This home is well-appointed with a cozy fireplace, lots of natural light, and beautiful views on the wraparound porch - it's the perfect place to watch the sunset! The owners have definitely thought of everything you might need to relax and unwind. It is just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, Blowing Rock or Boone and we enjoyed exploring the area while we were there. Victoria was so helpful as well. We will definitely be back!
It was a total of 6 in our family that stayed in the cabin. We were thrilled with the location to our destination (went to Tweetsie Railroad), only minutes away from Tweetsie RR and local shopping/restaurants. The house was beautiful, roomy for all of us. The hottub was a nice luxury that I don't normally have access to at home. Overall we throughly enjoyed our stay and wished we could have extended our time there. The location was perfect, not a busy area and we were able to sit outside and just enjoy the surroundings regardless of the time of day. We do hope to return again.
The perfect trip for our family of 5 (kids are 4,6,8). The house had everything we could need. When we arrived, a porch lightbulb was out and a smoke detector was chirping. My husband emailed Victoria and she came right out, that night, with lightbulbs and batteries! We had zero problems after that. We snow tubed at Hawksnest, ice skated at App Mtn, road the train and played at Tweetsie Railroad, and played at Blowing Rock park downtown. We ate at as many restaurants as we could and never had a bad experience. We had an amazing trip. I highly recommend this listing and the Blowing Rock/Boone area.

Wonderful home for a family
Our children very much enjoyed the bunk bed and having their very own t.v. In their bedroom! We appreciate the cleanliness of the home. Though our winter activities fell through (snowtubing) our children were excited about the home itself and the hot tub! We did not cook, but found the kitchen well appointed should we have needed to. Many thanks for a nice home for our quick getaway.
We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home nestled in the mountains! The house was comfortable, had everything we needed and the views were absolutely incredible. The deck was well equipped with chairs, table and an amazing hot tub! Would definitely stay here again!
Home is extremely clean and has a wonderful open layout. Our get away was impacted by Hurricane Ian with lots of rain and several gray days; the home was a very comfortable respite that allowed for great family time. Very convenient to both Boone and Blowing Rock. Would stay again!
This home is very close to blowing rock and Boone and all the amenities of those towns, yet is private and secluded with beautiful views. Home is well maintained and clean and we had a wonderful trip.
We had a great stay! A great location between everything we wanted to do in Boone and Blowing Rock, a short drive to each. The house was clean and well stocked. We wish there were more chairs for the fire pit - there were only 3 and 1 of the 3 were cracked. But other than that…. A great property and we will definitely book again for when we go back next year! The host was very responsive and we had no issues at all! Would highly recommend.

Would stay here again
We had a great stay here and were very satisfied with our experience. This home is really cozy and comfortable including the beds. I'm very picky about cleanliness and I was happy with how clean and well maintained it was. The contact assigned to the home was very helpful and friendly during our stay. The surrounding area is very quiet and private. It's in a really convenient location close to Boone and Blowing Rock — very close to grocery stores and restaurants — but you also feel secluded once in the house. The route to this house and its driveway is incredibly steep and windy but we had no trouble in our AWD vehicle. We would totally stay here again!
We LOVED our stay in this beautiful mountain home! The views were great, and the house was well-appointed. It is obvious that the owners take a lot of pride in their home. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house, walking down to the waterfalls, taking in the views, and lounging in the hot tub. Thank you!

Great stay
We had an amazing stay at the mountain house! The views were wonderful, the house well-stocked, and we loved the "hike" down to the waterfall in the neighborhood. A lot of thought and care have been put into the home, and it's obvious. It was a relaxing, happy Thanksgiving spent in Blowing Rock! Thank you!
The house was clean and comfortable. Convenient to Boone for App State visit. Close to Blowing Rock shopping and restaurants. Hot tub was very clean. Pretty mountain view.
Super clean! Amazing views! Only thing that went wrong was hot tub needed servicing while we were there but the property manager was VERY responsive and had someone come out immediately the next day! Our 4 year olds loved it... I was happy the bunk beds had the safety “ledge” to let them sleep in it! Felt very safe for our 1 year olds as well! We did bring baby gates for the porch and stairs! Would vacation here again in a heartbeat!
