The Moorings Waterfront Estate, is a community estate located 1km from the town centre. It has a resort style feeling, boasting lovely manicured lawns, a tennis court, 4 community jetties, swimming pool and spa and a private boat ramp with easy access to the waterways.

While our home is not waterfront, it has easy access to the canals via the swimming pool or the boat ramp. So don't forget to bring your kayaks, stand up boards and fishing rods to enjoy the comforts of The Moorings.

The home boasts 3 rooms with sleeping arrangements for 7. The bedding easily accomodating large families and allowing them to enjoy the facilities in a safe and pleasant environment. The bedding configuration is made up of 2 queen beds a double bed and a single day bed.

Upstairs in the kids room, there is a a double bed and a single day bed, there is also a power board with USB A and C adapters built in. The 2 other rooms overlook the tennis court and swimming pool.

The house is well equipped with 2 living areas. The main lounge area features a 60" TV and 3 lounges to enjoy your evening viewing. It is also serviced with a split system reverse cycle air conditioner to keep you warm in the cooler climes and cool when it gets too hot. There are 2 sitting/dining areas as well as a covered outdoor dining area and BBQ.

The beautiful Tassie Oak kitchen is well equipped for you to cook up a storm or you may like to dine at the RSL club at the end of the road situated on the banks of the Inlet or any of the other eateries located in town.
Approximately 2 kms away is the beautiful Berarra Beach which is home to a family of dolphins who can be seen scouring the beach on most mornings.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please make sure the dishes are washed dried and put away
Please make sure the BBQ gas is turned off and you have cleaned the hotplate.
Please take the wheely bins to the front of the estate when leaving on Sunday to allow bin collection on Monday night
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
On departure please return keys to the key box and turn off the hot water fuse (HWS) at the mains power fuse at the fuse box located at the side.
Please leave the house as you found it. That includes cleaning up and putting clean dishes away, make sure the dishwasher is empty and clean. This hel

Perfect getaway

A well equipped town house. Clean and beds were comfotable. Good amenities, I loved being able to fish off the jetty only 50m from town house. Thank you for a lovely relaxing getaway.

Peaceful and relaxing

The property was very clean. The owners have great communication and readily available and helpful. Great quiet location for a relaxing vacation. The tennis court and pool are an added bonus for the kids to hang out. Enough room for a family of five. Would recommend for a place to stay.

Family getaway

We had a wonderful stay at The Moorings. Peaceful and access to all amenities. The kids enjoyed feeding the ducks and although it was a bit too cool to swim, they still had fun sitting by the pool. The wine and chocolates were a bonus too! Would definitely come back.

Lovely holiday house

The house was clean and had good facilities. There were local shops about 2 minutes drive down the road. The host was very helpful and answered our questions very quickly. We had a wonderful stay there and enjoyed the holiday very much.

I have to admit the 2 pillow protectors which were dirty were under the doonas and that has been rectified but there were plenty of other for you to swap. Regards

A Tranquil Summer Holiday!

Our family enjoyed a lovely mini-break at The Moorings, a beautiful and inviting family home with enough space for our family of 4 plus 2 grandparents. Everything was so convenient - the adjacent tennis court, the swimming pool that overlooked the inlet and the jetty that was a stones-throw from the property and the perfect place for our children to practice their fishing skills! The owners provided recreational gear such as board games, dvds, bikes and tennis rackets - thank you so much for creating such a lovely option for future holidays.

The layout of the house was good, and the use of the pool and tennis courts was great. It has a relaxing feel about it and it is quiet. Some things in the house weren't very clean like the dishwasher, the coffee jar in the pantry expired in 2020, lounge was dusty and not even a full roll of toilet paper for 6 people. (the owner did apologize about the toilet paper). The bikes have no brakes. The owner gave a good tip on how to get the gas to work for the BBQ.
