Very nice experience. Villa was exactly as described. Karin was rasy to deal with and we would recommend this resort to anyone wanting to bisit Gatlinburg.

Our favorite place

The property was just as described or even better. We enjoyed the amenities and location of our villa. If there is any drawback to the property, it's just the parking. We had to park away from our building and go get the vehicles when spots became available. That is the only negative. It wouldn't even be an issue, but my husband is disabled. We had a wonderful time with our children and grandchildren. Would absolutely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. My son loved the water park. It was easy getting to places with Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge so close. Nice having the shuttle to take us places around the resort. Only thing is you can’t always get a parking spot by the villa. Karin is really nice and makes sure you have all you need when checking in. She gets back with you quickly and answers all your questions you may have. We would definitely stay here again!

The perfect vacation resort!

Just as it was advised on VRBO, everything was fabulous at Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort. We could not have had a better place to stay on our vacation.

Great location with beautiful views

The property was great! There were a ton of things to do without leaving the resort, but soooo many people. We weren't able to use the pool by the property because it was too crowded. The pool by the waterpark seemed to be a lot less busy. We brought our own clubs so were able to have the mini golf course several nights all to ourselves. Would definitely love to stay here again!

Superb lodging in a remarkably upscale resort with countless amenities.

It was top a notch, luxury resort with wonderful amenities, an upscale water park, great dining and daily on property activities....all within the Great Smoky Mountain National Park! Could not have chosen a better property! Our host was excellent to communicate every step of the process before our trip, and made us feel very at ease. She even let us book an extra night on short notice! Would love to return to her property again!

Perfect vacation stay for my family and another family traveling for a softball tournament. Modern, updated, clean rooms with plenty of room for everyone. We could enjoy family time or break off to be alone. Amazing views at the top of the Smoky's. So much for the kids to do and super safe environment. Everything we needed in the room and at the Resort. Staff was very attentive to our needs. Although there are many units at the Resort, we felt we were secluded in our room and on the balcony. Excellent location in the mountains only minutes from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Karin was wonderful during the entire process. Looking forward to returning next year. I highly recommend this property.

Our family's overall experience was wonderful

Our family enjoys coming to the mountains for our get away. The two bedroom condo that we stayed in gave us all the benefits of being at home and the Westgate staff gave us everything we needed to have a great vacation. Everyone was friendly and wonderful. With the shuttle service our vehicles never had to move except the one time midweek when we had to go to the grocery store to restock. The full kitchen let our family of 5 enjoy time together without having to leave for every meal. In the end we had a great time and look forward to the next trip. Thanks Karin!!!

Fall Break trip!

My grandson's fall break was this week and we had looked high and low for a place to stay where he could have fun! After days of no luck I tried VRBO and this property came up and I started talking with the owner who couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating, we had never stayed at Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort before but after this visit it will not be the last! In the reviews some people complain about the time it took to check in, it took us 5 minutes, they escorted us to our cabin, explained everything and told us to call if we needed anything, and they really meant it! All the employees and the accommodations were the best and our grandson loved the water park, the infinity pool and minature golf! Thank you Karin and Westgate for a wonderful fall break for all of us!

Why they chose this property

We originally purchased a vacation home at the beach, but found we weren't able to enjoy it through every season. Gatlinburg is beautiful and has lots to do all year round. Our current villa is located in a 5-start resort with wonderful amenities, including a huge water park. It is in a wonderful location, next to the national park and just 2 1/2 miles from Ripley's Aquarium in downtown Gatlinburg, and 5 miles from Pigeon Forge.

What makes this property unique

The views from our villa are spectacular and uninterrupted because our villa is at the top of a large hill. For those traveling with someone disabled or elderly, there is an elevator.
