Hello! We’re the Browns, proud owners of a 32-acre farm we fell in love with back in 2017. Our dream was to find a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and this land became exactly that—and so much more. Today, we’re thrilled to share our little slice of tranquility with others who are looking for a place to unwind, recharge, and reconnect with what matters most.

Why they chose this property

This farm has a rich history that dates back to 1808-1812 when it was first settled. The land was originally gifted to Colonel Grant by George Washington himself as a token of appreciation for his leadership during the Revolutionary War. Grant's family sold the property to the Armstrong family from South Carolina. Although it's unclear when the main house and side cabin were built, it's believed to have been sometime between 1812-1889. The Armstrongs eventually sold the property to Dr. George, a renowned livestock veterinarian in Maury County, who made the farm popular and recognizable throughout the town. Unfortunately, the farm fell into disarray after Dr. George's passing a few years ago, following a long period of illness. However, we fell in love with the farm's rich history. We saw the potential and had a vision of offering a stress-free weekend getaway to people, providing them with an opportunity to connect with each other, nature, and God. We invite you to be a part of our farm journey and hope that your stay will make your journey a little more pleasant.

What makes this property unique

If you're searching for a place that's close to all the wonderful things that Nashville, Franklin, and Columbia have to offer, but you want to stay on a nostalgic Tennessee farm, then this is the perfect place for you. You can enjoy the best of both worlds - the excitement of city life when you want it, and the peaceful countryside when you just want to get away.

The cabin has been recently updated with new heating and air conditioning, a new bathroom and kitchen, and new flooring. However, we've made sure to maintain the old farm style that makes it wonderfully charming.

We are conveniently located 10 minutes from Downtown Columbia, 55 minutes away from downtown Nashville and 40 minutes away from historic Franklin.
