Few min from popular Ventura blvd with shops restaurants and night bars .
10 min walk from Sherman oaks Galleria, short drive to Fashion Square mall and the locals secret Lake Balboa and Japanese Gardens!!!

You get the entire private property With a soft water pool , electric gate , front yard and a back yard , park 4 cars inside the gate. and have plenty of parking on the street .

House is great for couples , friend gathering and very family friendly.
Kids under 14 must or special need must be with adult supervision at all time.

This house is the historic house of Ernie. Ernie was one Sherman oaks leaders for revitalize the LosAngeles river - Ernie’s Walk . Kester and Valleyheart( 5 min walk ) there is a walkway on the river and a biking area , in season , you can relax watching birds and listening to water .
House is not new but super cute . If you are looking for new and perfect this is not the one !

Lots of filming in this street so you could maybe touch the stars and don’t forget smile when you drive by ...

So if you are here for the action or to relax you got it all -CASA DE JULIA -swimsuits are optional!!!

No lifeguard on duty and many doors leads to the pool … be advised not to leave kids or special needs without supervision.

Must fix all game room items - game room reorganizing fee is $50 if not organized .
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
ABSOLUTELY NO PARTY'S ! Resrvation price is for 6. Any extra Guest that are not on reservation .$25 daytime $35 nighttime charge per guest per day.
Absolutely ck out at 10 am. Late ck out - first 30 min $30 , after that $100 per hour or any part of that hour. We have back to back reservation .
Send you pets photo for approval. Some type of if pets will not be approved.

Home away from home

This was the perfect place for our LA vacation with friends and family. Perfect slept the four adults and four kids. Close to lots of local shops and restaurants. Easy access to highways for nearby amenities. Small pool was a nice way to cool off at the end of the day.

Layout was quite strange and pool was dirty. The property manager had the pool cleaned when the kids refused to get in it. Otherwise it was a nice stay.

We had a great stay

Our girls trip was a blast and staying in this house worked out great. It was in a great quiet neighborhood that made us feel safe. It fit all of us pretty comfortably. We were a little sad that we weren’t able to use the pool. It was unclear in the listing that the pool heater wasn’t able to be turned on in the winter months. But all in all it was a sweet cozy place that we enjoyed.

3 generations under 1 roof

The location is great, very close to many amenities, and attractions. LA can feel small, or very large, depending on traffic, but we were only a 15 minute drive to Universal Studios. Julia was great to deal with, the kids loved the pool (so glad we paid for the pool to be heated). Be aware that the photos make the place appear larger than it is. Having said that, we fit 4 grandparents in their 60's, my wife and I jn our 30's, and our 8 and 9 year old boys, as well as parked 3 vehicles inside the fence with plenty of room to spare.

This California quirky home was exactly what we needed. 7 adults (two families) fit perfectly. It was walking distance to everything we couldn't need and a short drive to all attractions, studios. Owner was very responsive. The pool was a great break in the day activity. Loved our visit!

You get what you pay for

If you want a place with lots of beds and a pool right in LA, this works. Its old. Bathrooms really need updating and there is no central air. But it’s a lot less expensive than other places, and the gated house helps you feel secure.

I wish I could've stayed here longer.

This reservation came at a time when I needed it the most. My group of 5+ and I extended our trip to LA last minute, and finding a new place was no easy task. However, I got lucky with finding Julia's listing and inquired about reserving it on the same day I needed to check in, and I got it! The host was very responsive and considerate of my group, and I wish I could've extended my stay, but my group ended up leaving LA. I can't wait to come back.

Pictures can be deceiving

This house is very old and in poor repair. The furniture is likewise. We had to go buy air mattresses because the sofa bad was completely un-usable. That being said, the owner was nice and tried to help by sending extra cleaning personnel, but there isn't much they can do when everything is just so run down. The location was great.
