Large laundry room. Living room has a wood fireplace and large picture windows, pool table and foosball inside area of living room and no cleaning fee. Patio has a table and chairs for 6 and a grill, we also have free Wi-Fi . Two car garage/shop for parking, putting snowboards or skis, bikes, etc. off the street parking in front of house.

Felt Like Home

This is a great place to stay if you’re in the area. It’s very spacious and clean. We visited the Sand Dunes, and this was the perfect place to unwind after a day outdoors. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Place for Family Fun

This home is just as described - a quiet home in a quaint neighborhood with plenty of room for the family. The host supplied for pretty much anything you could need during your stay. The kitchen while small maximized its space with all the essentials and more. The living room provided so much space to relax or have fun together as a family playing pool and foosball. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were supplied with everything needed. The host made it easy for you to check in and check out. The location was perfect for visiting our son and for seeing the beautiful surrounding area including the Great Sand Dunes National Park, Zapata Falls, and the Old Spanish Trail. This was easily one of our best experiences with a Vrbo rental.

Wonderful Getaway in Alamosa

This VRBO is absolutely wonderful! Spacious and comfortable, with so many amenities to make the stay feel like you are at a home away from home. There are accomodations for young children, a huge master bathroom with an amazing Jacuzzi tub, a grill in the backyard, and so much more. If you are looking to stay in the Alamosa area, this is the place for you!

Quiet neighborhood

When forst areiving i thought this property was going to be difficult, due to the narrow roads and myself driving a larger truck. The he is very stunning and well maintained. Greeted by an open living room and a cozy ambiance the ease of the days stress seemed to ease away. Overall this space takes you back to a younger time that just hugs you as if you are home. Will book again.

Nice home in great neighborhood

Very comfortable, well stocked home in a nice area of Alamosa. Garage was nice to have for our trailer and Harley. We were able to park our truck off the street in driveway. We saw deer in the front yard everyday. The coffee set up as well as bath amenities were really nice. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Great base to unwind

A very comfortable, quiet, spacious place to unwind after exploring Great Sand Dunes. Close to grocery store and also a lovely walking path along the Rio Grande. Well stocked with kitchen tools and a variety of games.

The house is great! Perfect size for our group. The yard is lovely, the garage kept our vehicles safe, the pool table and foosball table were a hit! We went off roading near the sand dunes, saw a drive in movie in Monte Vista, and enjoyed a lazy afternoon around the house. Walking distance to Campus cafe

Perfect Home for a Relaxing and Convenient Stay in Alamosa!

I had a fantastic stay at the house! It’s roomy, clean, and located in a peaceful neighborhood close to Adams State University. Its central location made it easy to explore Alamosa. The home is well-maintained and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen and cozy bedrooms. The pool table and foosball table added a fun element for entertainment. Highly recommend for a relaxing and convenient stay in Alamosa!

My husband, Mark grew-up working in his family owned business, in Alamosa. Mark loves being outdoors. He has enjoyed all the mountains around the San Luis Valley. We got married in the late 80's. A few years later we started a family. We got into the rental business over 25 years ago.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property early in 2015. As soon as we saw it, we thought it would make a great vacation home because of the location. It is a family oriented neighborhood, house is a single story, quiet, spacious home. This home is on one of the prettiest streets in Alamosa. In the Spring, the crabapple trees are in bloom. The whole street looks pink. It's just a small walk to the Rio Grande River, where there is a trail to bike, walk or run. Two blocks from Safeway and Star Buck.
